A BRIEF INTRODUCTION TO THE PROCEDURE OF SAMPLING THROUGH DRILLING INSTEAD OF SINKING PITS IN PROSPECTING SANDY KAOLIN DEPOSITS OF WEATHERING CRUST TYPE

This paper gives a brief introduction to the procedure of sampling through drilling instead of sinking pits in the prospecting of sandy kaolin deposits of weathering crust type, which are under water table and buried by the Quarternary. The sampling practice shows that the sampling procedure in question promises good quality of samples and is characterized by time-saving, money-saving and easy conduction and has proved to be suitable for the prospecting of sandy kaolin deposits of weathering type.
