P-σ坐标区域气候模式的垂直分辨率对模拟结果的影响

摘    要:在原五层P σ坐标模式的基础上 ,发展了一个九层 1°× 1°P σ坐标区域气候模式 ,并用多年平均的NCEP再分析资料月平均场与五层模式进行了模拟对比检验。对比检验表明 ,改进后的九层模式对高度场、温度场及降水场的模拟均要优于原五层模式。对于风场的模拟 ,在冬季对流层中下层 ,九层模式的模拟要好于五层模式 ,夏季九层模式的模拟不如五层模式。但总的来讲 ,垂直分辨率的提高对P σ坐标模式的模拟具有较显著的改进效果 ,这为进一步发展区域海气耦合模式打下了基础

Abstract:A nine-level 1°×1° P-σ corrdinate regional climate model isdeveloped on the basis of a fivemlevel P-σ model and inter comparisons the simulated results of the ninemlevel model and the fivemlevel model are carried out by using the NCEP reanalysis monthly mean data. It is found that the improved ninemlevel model has a better simulations of the geopotential field, the temperature field and the precipitation field in winter and summer. For the simulation of wind fields, the ninemlevel model performs better than the fivemlevel model in the lower layers in winter, however, a little worse in summer. In the whole, the increase of vertical resolution results in large improvements of the P-σ model simulation and it is a fair preparation for the further developing of the regional oceanmatmospheric coupled model.
