用马克思主义占领地质学史这个阵地

人民日报社论《在斗争中培养理论队伍》(1974年6月18日)指出:“当前,批林批孔运动的发展,向我们提出了这样的任务:对林彪、孔老二的批判如何深入,如何普及,如何持久,如何系统化,以推动各条战线的斗、批、改,用马克思主义占领哲学、历史、教育、文学、艺术、法律等在内的整个上层建筑领域。”

TAKE OVER THE FIELD OF GEOLOGICAL HISTORY WITH MARXISM

In study the development of geological history the author of the present paper made an attempt to demonstrate the following fact: the birth and development of geological science come out of the practice of the working people and have been further promoted by them in the course of the two-line struggle between materialism and idealism, the world-outlook of the dialectical materialism has paved an unlimited broad way for the development of the earth’s science. The "apriorism", the theory of "heaven’s will" and the concept "history created by heroes", peddled by Lin Piao. and Confucius as well as by the reactionary bourgeoisie in the western countries and the revisionist, are critizied also in this paper. It is shown, that therefore necessary to rewrite the history of geology with Marxism.
