Gravimetric data management at BGI

Acquisition and distribution of very large sets of digitized gravity data have led BGI to develop its own data base management software. The procedures for the integration of new data, the evaluation and retrieval techniques are depicted enhancing the use of an interactive graphic terminal. Different kinds of output products available from BGI are described. Presented at International Symposium on Management of Geodetic Data, Copenhagen, August 24–26, 1981.
