Abstract:In this paper we have discussed the effect of different earth models on the computation of the loading gravity tides. Theoretical analysis and computations show that for M2 wave the influence of different earth models on the determination of the amplitude is below 0.30 micro-gal, which is consistent with the result computed by convolving Schwiderski's cotidal map. Moreover, a comparision of three methods whicch have been used for tidal Loading computations were made.
