Abstract: | Branching ratios and are calculated at 584 Å and 304 A employing the close-coupling approximation to compute the photoionization cross section values. The coupled channels include the states dominated by the ground configuration 1s22s2p3 of O+and the next excited configuration ls22s2p4. It is found that the partial c section decreases more rapidly than , and at the lower wavelength 304 Å, the ratio . Present results at 304 Å differ considerably from previous work. |
