Development and Challenge of Zhanjiang Regional Economy

This paper compares and analyzes status quo of economic development of Zhanjiang with that of other areas in Guangdong and opening coastal cities in China.It is proved that Zhanjiang regional economic development is faced with the opportunity of exerting its comparative advantages,the stress of competition and cooperation from the exterior and the challenge of promoting its interior economy such as improving its investment environment and accumulating adequate capital.
