| Abstract: | The exposed slope land of the gneiss in the Taihang Mountains is classified into the three types and seven subtypes and further into three classes in the forestry utilization according to the mineral composition and the weathering characteristics of the soil-formation mother rocks and the conserving situation of the regolith and the slope,by means of the research about the result of the physical and chemical analysis of 312 samples of these weathering substances of 17 kinds of rocks and a wealth of data about the investigation in the open country. All of them are verified by the test of the suitable properties of different kinds of trees in every class of the exposed slope land of the gneiss. These testes have shown that above-mentioned classifications are correct by and large.Besides,the author shows the most suitable tree species in various exposed slope land of the gneiss in the Taihang Mountains. |
