Abstract:The metallogenic chronology has long bee n an essential problem inv olved in study of micro fine disseminated gold deposits hosted in sedimentary r ocks. In this note exploration is based on researches on the Rb Sr isotopic sys tem of quartz vein formed at hydrothermal stage in the Manaoke micro fine diss eminated gold deposit. It is suggested that the age of ore deposit( t =46 Ma) is the early stage orogenesis in the Tibetan Himalayas, in which it is coupled with the evolution of Neo Tethyan basin and the third period metamorphism in th e Songpan Ganzi orogenic belt. It is also suggested that the ore forming mate rial may have come from the deep source (magma driven hydrothermal circulation) . It is further deduced that the deposit is a distal portion of magmatic hydroth ermal systems.
