摘    要:地形可视化是地形表达、虚拟地理环境与虚拟仿真领域中重要的组成部分。论文首先回顾了DEM地形分析与表达技术,然后重点阐述了如何利用DEM自身解译的地形信息,增强DEM地形等高线图、地形晕渲图等地形可视化效果,突出不同地形特征与细节,实现可量测性和直观性为一体的3维地形表达,提供用户更为直观、准确的地形认知。

Enhancement Technology of Terrain Visualization Based on DEM

Abstract:The terrain visualization is an important component for terrain visualization expression, virtual geographic environments and virtual reality. The paper focused on how to take the advantages of the Digital Elevation Model (DEM) and Digital Terrain Analysis (DTA) to enhance terrain visualization. At the same time, the paper shows the terrain visualization map used different enhancement technology, which including the directly enhanced elevation, the three-dimensional shading based on slope and aspect, the details of carving techniques. With the enhanced terrain visualization expression effects, it can provide users with more intuitive and accurate cognitive terrain.
