Studies on Geoenvironmental Actuality of Open-pit Mines and Their Renovation Measures,Jiangning District,Nanjing City

Located at the lower reaches of Yangtze River channel,Jiangning District owns a land area of 1 567 km 2,a population of 740 thousand and a river coastline of more than 10 km,an area with abundant mineral resources.In recent years,Jiangning's mining industry grows rapidly and has become a key supporting industry for the economic development of the District.Forty kinds of mineral resources have been discovered up till now and the reserves for twenty kinds are demonstrated with most of the mineral resources are under exploitation.The mining actuality for the open-pit mines within Jinagning District is summarized,and the main issues existed are put forward.The renovation measures for the geoenvironment of the open-pit mines are stated from different point of views through analyzing the actuality of the geoenvironment around the open-pit mines in Jiangning District.
