| Abstract: | It is not anywhere and anytime can great earthquakes occur. On these grounds, we can be guided to discover the regularities of earthquake occurrences. The arguments of this paper are well verified by the great earthquake of M S 8 1 occurring in the boundary between Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and Qinghai Province on November 14, 2001. |
