| Abstract: | This text briefly introduces the case history of the short-term earthquake forecast,based on seismo-geological background and historical strong earthquake activities in southwest Sichuan and its adjacent region.It is paid more attention on the earthquake prevention,disaster reduction and earthquake forecasting supported by local government.The practical problems in carrying out suchWorks are discussed. |
