摘    要:十年来,化工矿产地质科研工作以主要矿种的成矿规律研究和成矿预测为主,并对硫、磷、钾、硼、天然碱等矿产资源对建设保证程度作了论证。综观上述资源,至今仍为急需、紧缺的矿种除储量不足外,多为贫矿,或分布不均衡。或产地僻远,或采选条件差。今后研究工作力量投入以7:2:1(应用基础研究:开发研究:基础研究)更为恰当。

IMPORTANT ADVANCES IN THE RESEARCHES ON CHEMICAL MINERALS FOR THE LAST DECADE AND FORWARD LOOKING TO THE FUTURE
Abstract:The purpose of studying chemical minerals by the Geological Institute forChemical Minerals is to make clear how they formed and,on this basis,to evaluateto how much extent they meet demand of economic construction.A large amount ofindoor and outdoor researches on these mineral resources for the last decade hasprecisely given the following explanations.Pyrite deposits widely sandwiched by the Permian coal series over Sichuan,Yunnan and Guizhou provinces are believed as“a volcanic structure-collapsed type”,genetically related to the outpouring of the Emei basalt.In contrust with them sulferdeposits companying polymetalic sulfides in the Langshan district,Neimen,usuallyresulted from submarine distal exhalation and subsequent precipitation.No matterwhat originations,these resources consist essentially of predominant pyrite,minorpolymetal-associated suffer,and a little but hard used native sulfer.The reserves areconcentrated cast,south-central and southwest of Chinese mainland,furthermorefeaturing ore slow in grade and associated with polymetals.Phosphate deposits is also the important subject of the Institute's study.Theyput an emphasis on the weathered phosphorite in the Dianchi region,Yunnan,forwhich a genetic model was established.But it is noticeworthy that though our countryis the second largest producer of phosphate rocks in the world,unfavorable factorsexist to limit their efficent utilities.Unfavorableness indndes much differencebetween in the south and in the north in terms of reosources distribution,and hardprocessed collophane a lot more in percentage than the other ores.Investigations on potash salts at present facus on the Chaerhan saline lake.Qinghai where the resource patential is comment on through additional exploration.On the other hand,a full attention is drown to the restricted basin in the eastern partof China to see if there are conditions necessary for formation of patash minerals.The answer is nagative:such geologic environments didn't favour very muchformation of patash deposits of emercial interest.How the problem of China'sshortage of potash resources is solved will keep the Institute taking a more positivecountermeasure for a long time.In China,known boron deposit of economic importance are almost entirelyconcerned with sedimento-metamorphism.The mineralization was probably causedsubmarine volcanic exhalation.Also,China is being puzzled by the situation in whichthe Baron resources available will soon be exhausted,letting alone their low grades. Finally,it is trona which,low-maderate graded,has been proven to maitainresources unadequate for the economic construction.In the coming years,the Institute will make a paint of solving the problem ofwhich places are determined as propecting targets for Chemical minerals.For thisgoal,geologic and seientific studies will be carried out at 7:2:1 propostion,correspondently,practical-fundamental study vs.development study vs.funda-mental study.At the same time.Lateral cooperation are vigorously launched withhome and abroad counterparts to introduce and incorporate advanced thearies andmethods.
