Application of Universal Kriging and Indicator Kriging for Geochemical Prospecting

Universal kriging is a method which provides a best linear non-deviation estimator of the non-stationary random fanction z (x). The authors use the method to geochemical explorative data of sorae area. We estimate values, driftes and fluctuates of some clemente, such as W, Bi, Cu, Pb, Zn and so on.These values were used to evaluate geochemical background and abnormal characteristics. Indicator kriging is applied to maganese element of the same area to obtain the probability when maganese values are larger than a predefined cutoff. The results are presented in the form of probability contour plot.
