BORDER PORT MANZHOULh URBAN FUNCTION AND SPACE DEVELOPMENT

Manzhouli is the largest land port city on the Sino-Russia border, transit cargo through the land port amount-ed to 5.95 million tons, transit tourists were 304 500 in 2000. It stands at the joint place of China, Mongolia and Russi-a, faces to Siberia area of Russia, receives direct support from the Northeast China and Bohai Sea Rim Area, and possess-es priorities in geographical location, land port infrastructure, water resources, coal resources, tourist resources andgreat potentiality in economic cooperation with Russia. The future urban function is a key port on the First Eurasia Continen-tal Bridge. Manzhouli Port will keep its first place between China and Russia land transport, and it is forecasted that thetransit amount through Manzhouli Port will go up to 10 million tons in 2005 and 20 million tons in 2010. It will be construct-ed to be a trade center of the peripheral area extending to Russia and Mongolia, a key export-oriented processing industri-al zone supported by industries such as export processing industries, export agriculture, trade services, technology trad-ing and the other service industries. It keeps being a well-known touring city for trade, shopping, sightseeing, vocation,local food, recreation and cultural events. To build Manzhouli Export Processing Industry Zone will improve city econom-ic structure, and the main sectors are organic food processing, livestock products processing, garment and furniture indus-try. Moreover, Manzhouli Export Processing Industry Zone will eventually be upgraded to be a border free trade zone.The city functional transition will inevitably affect urban spatial restructure and its expansion. The city space transforma-tion will develop as such: one development axis of No. 301 highway paralleling with Bin - Zhou(Harbin - Manzhouli) rail-way which cuts through central part of Manzhouli City, and links Zhalainuocr District with central city; three urban unitsincluding central city, Zhalainuocr District and Manzhouli Interchange Trade Zone; cohesion with Aoerjin and Cuogangpastures; regional dual-nuclei structure of Hailaer City and Manhzouli City; and the Manzhouli-Zabaykalsk Free TradeZone.     

Asteroid families: evidence of ageing of the proper elements

In recent times it has been emphasized that the present kinematical structures of asteroid families should be evolved with respect to the original post-impact situations, according to numerical simulations performed taking into account also the previously neglected Yarkovsky effect. In this paper we show that also a “classical” approach based on an analysis of the current kinematical properties of families leads to conclude that the distributions of proper eccentricities and semimajor axes of family members exhibit evidence of an evolution. The importance of this approach is that it yields a fully independent and quantitative estimate of an evolutionary spreading of the proper elements. In particular, we find that the original post-impact families had to be on the average about twice more compact than the families we observe now, when considering family members down to about 5 km in size. This result can be used in future analyses to derive estimates of the ages of different families, and to better constrain the typical values of the ejection velocities of the fragments in family-forming events.

介绍一个新建立的岩石地层单位——陈刘组

陈刘组为新建立的岩石地层单位，代表广西早三叠世盆地滨岸相带沉积类型。层型剖面位于贵港市陈刘村附近。层型定义指位于龙潭组与板纳组之间的沉积序列，岩性为灰绿、紫红色泥岩、粉砂细砂岩夹少量火山岩及碳酸盐岩，含菊石、双壳类、牙形石等化石，厚３５９ｍ。

疏散星团NGC6530天区的恒星自行和成员概率

利用上海天文台的照相底片资料,确定了疏散星团NGC6530天区364颗恒星的自行和成员概率,并对有关自行测定的方法、结果和精度等问题作了较为详细的介绍和讨论。使用的底片历元差为87年,全部恒星自行中误差的均方根值为1．09mas/a。     

Is IRAS 03134 + 5958 a Herbig-Haro object?

The source IRAS 03134 + 5958 identified by Iyengar & Verma (1984) on the Palomar Observatory Sky Survey (POSS) prints with a nonstellar optical object with [P – R]≃ 5.3 ± 1.5 is near the edge of Lynds dark cloud No. 1384 and is either embedded in or behind the cloud. The galactic latitude of this source (b ^II = 2‡.3), its positionvis-a-vis the Lynds dark cloud, its nonstellar appearance, high [P – R] colour and its far-infrared spectrum, all suggest the possibility of its being a Herbig-Haro (HH) object. To test this possibility we undertook measurements of its proper motion and variability (two of the characteristic properties of HH objects). These yield μ_a = (3.6 ± 2.3) arcsec/century and μ_δ= (−1.2 ± 2.0) arcsec/century for its proper motion. The source reveals large variation in brightness between 1950 and 1954. Optical line studies of the source are required to confirm its classification as an HH object.
