江南佳品 凤尾鱼

凤尾鱼是刀鲚鱼（Coiiia ectenes）的俗称，为江南佳品之一。其体长一般20厘米，体被大而薄的圆鳞，无侧线。由于其尾分叉，尖端狭长，呈红色，状如凤尾，故称凤尾鱼。又因其体背呈青石板色或金黄色，或青黄交杂，因此又有“青背”、“黄背”和“花背”之称。凤尾鱼腹侧银白，有青、蓝或淡黄荧光，全身闪闪发亮。

据国外媒体报道．在人们抱怨无鱼可捞的时候．凤尾鱼和沙丁鱼类等小鱼数量已经增加了1倍多。     

The point of no return and pectoral angle of Japanese anchovy(Engraulis japonicus) larvae during growth and starvation

At a temperature of 23.0~24.8℃,the mixed feeding of Japanese anchovy larvae was initiated 24 h before the yolk-sac was exhausted.The point of no return(PNR) was reached on the 6th day after hatching.On the 4th day after hatching,the pectoral angle appeared in both fed and unfed anchovy larvae although it was more evident and sharper in the starved and the PNR stage larvae than in the fed ones.According to observations of larvae collected in the sea,the pectoral angles were evident not only in the larvae of 3.62~7.44 mm in standard length,but also in the larvae of 2.70 mm in standard length with remnants of yolk.The pectoral angles became diffuse when the larvae reached 7.84 mm and vanished at 9.86 mm.The pectoral angle cannot be used as a criterion to distinguish healthy from starving larvae.

1 Introduction Meiofauna is an important group in benthic small food web energetically due to their small size, high abundance and fast turnover rates. The production of meiofauna is equal to or higher than that of macrofau- na in estuaries, shallow waters and deep sea (Gerlach, 1971; Platt and Warwick, 1980; Heip et al., 1985; Zhang et al., 2004). Uncertainties in Stock Assessment and the Precautionary Management Suggestions for the Anchovy （Engraulisjaponicus） Stock in the Yellow Sea

Anchovy(Engraulis japonicus) is an abundant fish species in the Yellow Sea,and its natural stock is decreasing rapidly in recent years. Based on the stock-recruitment(SR) data from 1987 to 2002 published in Zhao et al.(2003),the criterion BIC(Bayesian Information Criterion) is applied to selecting a suitable model from six normal and lognormal error structured SR statisti-cal models,the age-structured model is used to calculate the biological reference points(BRPs),and the precision of the SR parame-ters and BRPs are calculated using bootstrap method. The results indicate that the anchovy fishery resource in the Yellow Sea is in an over-fished state. The precaution management principle requires that the fishery should be closed immediately.
