Studies of community structure and seasonal dynamics of planktonic copepods in saline-alkaline ponds

Abstracts Species abundance and seasonal succession of copepods in saline-alkaline ponds were studied in Zhaodian Fish Farm, Gaoqing County, Shandong Province, from 5 April 1997 to 1 September 1998. The results indicated that in the conditions of salinity ranging from 1.36 to 20 g/L, total alkalinity changing from 2.4 to 7.2 mmol/L and pH 8-9, zooplankton in saline-alkaline ponds was composed of freshwater salt-tolerated species or halophile species, some of which are halobiont species and usually occurs in freshwater. In our study, copepods were predominant in many fish-culture ponds and all control ponds without fishes in spring, late autumn and early winter. Dominant species of copepods were Sinocalanus tenellus, Cyclops vicinus, Thermocyclops taihokuensis. The biomass of copepods in the control ponds without fishes was higher than that of the fish-culture ponds.     

Taxonomic study on the family Mitridae (Mollusca: Gastropoda: Neogastropoda) from the China''s seas. Subfamilies: Imbricariinae and Cylindromitrinae

Ninteen species of subfamilies Imbricariinae and Cylindromitrinae, family Mitridae, are recorded from the China＇s seas. Of which, one genus and six species are recorded for the first time from China＇s seas, i.e., genus Ziba Adams H and Adams A, Cancilla （Cancilla） carnicolor, Ziba duplilirata, Z. insculpta, Neocancilla circula, Scabricola （Scabricola） desetangsii, Scabricola （Swainsonia） ocellata ocellata.     

青海北祁连区西大沟组孢粉组合

青海北祁连区西大沟组孢粉组合含有８３属１１０种（类型）,包括２新种,其中蕨类植物孢子为３３．６％,裸子植物花粉为５０．５％,疑源类为１５．８％。本组合以Ａｐｉｃｕｌａｔｉｓｐｏｒｉｓ－Ｃｏｒｄａｉｔｉｎａ－Ｓｃｈｉｚｏｓｐｏｒｉｓ较多为特征地质时代为早三叠世。     

西沙群岛海洋硅藻的研究

马兰冰川:一支深冰芯中微生物特征的分析

对一支101.8 m马兰冰芯代表一定时间序列的23个样品中的微生物进行了初步研究, 分离出活的微生物. 共获得10属75株细菌和2属6株放线菌, 其中芽孢杆菌属共32株, 大部分归于B. circulans, B. firmus, B. subtilis和B. alvei 4个种. 通过与其他地区冰芯的微生物的比较发现, 马兰冰芯分离出的细菌与南、北极冰雪细菌有一定的相似性, 然而, 马兰冰川这一中、低纬高山地区特殊的生态环境使较广泛分布于南极和格陵兰冰雪中的真菌类及藻类生物的数量极其有限, 本研究过程中未分离到这类生物.
