Response behaviour of triangular tension leg platforms under impact loading   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Excellent station keeping characteristics and relative insensitivity with increasing water depth make triangular tension leg platforms (TLPs) a proven concept in deep water oil exploration. TLPs are often subjected to less probable forces which arise due to collision of ships, icebergs or any other huge sea creature. Dynamic analysis of two triangular TLP models at water depths 1200 and 527.8 m is performed under regular waves along with impulse load acting at an angle of 45 degrees at the TLP column. Hydrodynamic forces on these TLPs are evaluated using modified Morison equation, based on water particle kinematics arrived at using Stokes’ fifth order wave theory. Based on numerical studies conducted, it is seen that impulse loading acting on corner column of TLP significantly affect its response while that acting on pontoons dose not affect TLPs behaviour.  相似文献

The effect of small perturbations ε and ε in the Coriolis and the centrifugal forces, respectively on the nonlinear stability of the triangular points in the restricted three-body problem with variable mass has been studied. It is found that, in the nonlinear sense, the triangular points are stable for all mass ratios in the range of linear stability except for three mass ratios, which depend upon ε, ε and β, the constant due to the variation in mass governed by Jeans’ law.  相似文献

When μ is smaller than Routh’s critical value μ 1 = 0.03852 . . . , two planar Lyapunov families around triangular libration points exist, with the names of long and short period families. There are periodic families which we call bridges connecting these two Lyapunov families. With μ increasing from 0 to 1, how these bridges evolve was studied. The interval (0,1) was divided into six subintervals (0, μ 5), (μ 5μ 4), (μ 4μ 3), (μ 3μ 2), (μ 2μ 1), (μ 1, 1), and in each subinterval the families B(pL, qS) were studied, along with the families B(qS, qS′). Especially in the interval (μ 2μ 1), the conclusion that the bridges B(qS, qS′) do not exist was obtained. Connections between the short period family and the bridges B(kS, (k + 1)S) were also studied. With these studies, the structure of the web of periodic families around triangular libration points was enriched.  相似文献

In tectonically active domains, fault propagation processes are revealed by landforms. A characteristic morphological feature of exposed active faults is the occurrence of triangular facets. Triangle-shaped landforms morphologically similar to fault-related triangular facets result from erosion of moderately-to-steeply dipping strata or layered successions along fold limbs and are known as flatirons. Triangular facets and flatirons may commonly coexist in mountain chains resulting from the superposition of recent extensional faulting on inherited fold-and-thrust architecture. In these settings analysis of flatirons and triangular facets is not trivial and may result in geomorphologic misinterpretations, hence undermine the interpretations of the geological structure and related deformation history. Here we show that active fault lineaments can be discriminate by inherited morpho-structure. We present the combined results of photo-geological and field survey carried out along well-exposed triangular shaped landforms located in the seismically active Upper Agri River Valley of the Southern Apennine. We found that triangular shaped landforms develop along a major fold back-limb, the Mt. Lama western slope, making it possible to unequivocally interpret these as flatirons. Downslope, Mt. Lama back limb is affected by a large deep-sited landslide whose scarp bound the flatirons and mimics a Holocene fault scarp. This inference appears significant, since the investigated landforms were interpreted by many authors as triangular facets related to an active normal fault, located at its foot, responsible for large historical earthquakes (i.e., the 1857 earthquake). We provide new criteria to discriminate morphologic convergence in tectonically active domains, with consequences for the regional geological interpretation, and for the assessment of geological hazards.  相似文献

农业是世界上最大的水资源利用部门,各种农产品中“寄存”了大量的水资源,蕴涵在产品生产和各种服务中的水资源就是产品或服务中的虚拟水.以红三角地区为例,分析了郴州市、韶关市、赣州市主要农产品的演变特征,计算了主要农产品的虚拟水含量及消费情况,在此基础上探讨了红三角地区农产品的战略性调整和水资源有效配置的政策意义.计算表明,不同区域生产同类型农产品所耗费的水资源不同,加上消费数量的差异,使居民人均农产品虚拟水消费也存在明显差异.红三角地区水资源富足的地区可通过农产品贸易方式更好地发挥区域水资源优势,主动开发和生产高效益的水资源密集型农产品;对局地水资源缺乏的山区,需要通过农产品生产的战略性调整,通过购入水资源密集型农产品,大力发展高效益的特色农业,实现生态-经济-水的良性循环.  相似文献

公路三维表面模型是公路三维设计的基础,其关键是设计模型和地表模型的叠加运算。本文提出了一种基于TIN的地面模型和道路设计模型叠加算法,基本原理是把参考模型的边界多边形当作约束边界线插入操作模型,在保持参考模型拓扑关系不变的条件下对其进行局部LOP优化,然后删除位于参考模型边界线内的点和三角形。本文算法具有实现简单、速度快和运算稳定的特点,已成功应用在公路三维可视化设计中。  相似文献

Overburden soil beds situated above a fault are often deformed by propagation of bedrock thrusting from the fault during large earthquake. The deformed beds formed a triangular shear zone. This coseismic faulting often causes damage to underground tunnels located in the shear zone. The present research studies the deformation behavior of the overburden soil beds and the tunnel, the associated mechanism and the impact on the safety of tunnel linings induced by a large blind thrust slip. Based on sandbox experimental and numerical studies, it is found that results from numerical analysis are in agreement with the sandbox model tests with regard to growths of the shear zones within the soil beds, location of the tunnel in this shear zone and deformations of the tunnel. The potential major shear zone may be bent or bifurcated into two sub-shear zones owing to existence of a tunnel inside the shear zone. Furthermore, the occurrence of back-thrust faulting will threaten the safety of nearby structures. It was also identified that stiffness of the soil and the fault dip angles are among the major factors controlling the configuration of shear zones, the stresses within the soil, and the loads on tunnel linings. Based on the identified mechanisms, the strategies for hazard prevention are accordingly suggested and discussed.  相似文献
