The major Ghanaian lode gold deposits are preferentially aligned along the western and eastern contacts of the Kumasi Basin with the Ashanti and Sefwi Belts, respectively. The investigated area of the Abawso small-scale concession, covering the workings of the old Ettadom mine, is situated 3 km west of the lithological contact of the Birimian metavolcanic rocks of the Akropong Belt in the east with the Birimian metasedimentary rocks of the Kumasi Basin in the west. The rocks of the Abawso concession represent a steeply NW-dipping limb of a SE-verging anticline with an axis plunging to the SW. Quartz veining occurs predominantly in the form of en échelon dilatational veins along NNE–SSW-striking shear zones of a few metres width and shows evidence of brittle and ductile deformation. Also stockwork-style quartz veining occurs in the vicinity of the main shaft of the old Ettadom mine. Hydrothermal alteration includes sericitisation, sulphidation and locally carbonatisation. The auriferous quartz veins mainly follow the trend of brittle to ductile deformed quartz veins; however, some occur in stockwork. Fluid inclusion studies reveal a large number of H2O inclusions along intragranular trails in auriferous quartz vein samples, as well as an overall dominance of H2O and H2O-CO2 inclusions over CO2 inclusions. Textural observations and physico-chemical fluid inclusion properties indicate post-entrapment modifications for all quartz vein samples due to grain boundary migration recrystallisation. This process is interpreted to be responsible for the generation of the CO2 inclusions from a H2O-CO2 parent fluid. In comparison with mineralisation at the Ashanti and Prestea deposits, which are characterised by CO2±N2 inclusions, the observed inclusion assemblage may be due to a shallower crustal level of mineralisation, or different degrees and styles of recrystallisation, or a less pronounced development of laminated quartz veins due to comparably restricted pressure fluctuations. Furthermore, the microthermometric observations allow the reconstruction of a possible retrograde P-T path, depicting near-isothermal decompression in the P-T range of the brittle/ductile transition.Editorial handling: E. 以江西德兴斑岩铜矿床之细矿脉为研究对象,文章介绍了细矿脉剖面采集及研究的工作方法,着重讨论了自矿脉至围岩元素的空间展布特征。成矿元素Cu、Ag、S和控矿元素Fe、Rb、K都属确定性分布型。对照元素的扩散和渗滤理想模式,得到如下认识:在成矿成晕的地球化学过程中,成矿元素Cu、Ag、S以及Fe以扩散作用为主,控矿元素K和Rb以渗滤作用为主。  相似文献

大湖塘石门寺钨矿床碳、氧、硫同位素研究   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
石门寺钨矿是大湖塘钨矿床的北矿段,位于我国下扬子成矿省之江南隆起东段成矿带西部,钦杭结合带的北侧。针对此细脉浸染型钨矿体中金属硫化物中的硫同位素和方解石中的碳、氧同位素进行了测定,结果显示细脉浸染型矿体中黄铜矿样品的δ34S值介于-2.6‰~-0.3‰之间,平均值为-1.31‰;辉钼矿样品的δ34S值介于-1.2‰~0.3‰之间,平均值为-0.53‰。矿体的硫主要来至深部岩浆或者上地幔。方解石δ13 CV-PDB值介于-11.42‰~-5.76‰之间,平均值为-7.06‰;δ18 OV-SMOW的变化范围为7.13‰~16.34‰,平均值为11.79‰,说明成矿流体中的碳主要来源于深部岩浆或者上地幔,并受到有机碳的混合。大湖塘石门寺钨矿段的成矿物质主要来源于大湖塘燕山期S型花岗岩岩浆,但不排除成矿流体在上升的过程中萃取了一部分围岩的成矿物质。  相似文献

内蒙古中部地区中—新元古代黑色岩系发育,形成于渣尔泰-白云鄂博裂陷槽内,命名为渣尔泰群和白云鄂博群。目前,仅在白云鄂博群的黑色岩系中发现并勘查了一批原生金矿。矿石主要类型为细脉型和蚀变变质岩型。金矿受层位和构造破碎带控制,金平均品位低,可形成大型或超大型矿床。因此,内蒙古中部中—新元古代黑色岩系中金矿资源潜力大,找矿远景好。  相似文献

The Y ejiwei deposit, which is located in the southern H unan W –Sn –Pb –Z n M etallogenic B elt in south C hina, is a large‐scale porphyry–skarn–veinlet‐type deposit containing 806 t I n. M ineralization occurs as porphyry‐type S n (stockworks), skarn‐type S n–C u, marble‐hosted‐type S n–C u (veinlet), and vein‐type P b–Z n ores. Thirty‐five ore samples were collected from the Y ejiwei deposit for bulk and mineral chemical composition, microscopic observation and electron microprobe analyses. The porphyry‐type S n ores contain variable amounts of I n (2.3–76 ppm; mean of 17.4 ppm) with local I n enrichment (226 ppm) and 1000 × I n/Z n values are 3.8–52.4. The skarn‐type C u–S n ore is richest in I n (12.3–214 ppm; mean of 114 ppm), and 1000 × I n/Z n values are 2.4–117. In contrast, the In content of the marble‐hosted‐type C u–S n ores is relatively low (7.4–34.9 ppm; mean of 20.3 ppm), and 1000 × I n/Z n is in the range of 0.61–5.5, and the vein‐type P b–Z n ores in the external zone contain the lowest I n contents (7.2–17.0 ppm; mean of 12.1 ppm) with 1000 × I n/Z n values of 0.07–0.09. The ore minerals in the deposit include pyrite, pyrrhotite, cassiterite, and I n‐bearing minerals of sphalerite, chalcopyrite, and stannite. Although only trace amounts of sphalerite are hosted in the porphyry ores, the sphalerite contains the highest I n content (0.27–10.1 wt.% I n) in the deposit. We observed the highest I n contents of all I n‐bearing sphalerite reported in C hina. The I n contents of sphalerite in the skarn‐type ore range from 0.15 to 0.56 wt.%, whereas the marble‐hosted‐, and vein‐type ores have lower I n contents (0.00–0.04, and 0.03–0.06 wt.%, respectively). The In resources of the Y ejiwei deposit are mainly hosted in skarn ores of the No. 31 and No. 32 orebodies. The genesis of I n in the Y ejiwei deposit was closely related to the shallow intrusive environment of related igneous rocks. As W –S n–M o–B i–C u–P b–Z n–A g mineralization is widespread in south H unan, this study would suggest a focus on skarn‐type S n–Z n deposits for the future prospecting of I n resources.  相似文献

The Lermontovskoe deposit (∼48 Kt WO3; average 2.6% WO3, 0.24% Cu, 0.23 g/t Au) is situated in a W-Sn-Au metallogenic belt that formed in a collisional tectonic environment. This tungsten skarn deposit has a W-Au-As-Bi-Te-Sb signature that suggests an affinity with reduced intrusion-related Au deposits. The deposit is associated with an intrusion that is part of the ilmenite-series, high-K peraluminous granitoid (granodiorite to granite) suite. These rocks formed via mantle magma-induced melting of crustal sources.The deposit comprises reduced-type, pyroxene-dominated prograde and retrograde skarns followed by hydrosilicate (amphibole-chlorite-pyrrhotite-scheelite-quartz) and phyllic (muscovite/sericite-carbonate-albite-quartz-scheelite-sulfide, with abundant apatite) alteration assemblages. Fluid inclusions from the skarn assemblages indicate high-temperature (>500 °C), high-pressure (1400–1500 bars) and high-salinity (53–60 wt% NaCl-equiv.) magmatic-hydrothermal fluids. They were post-dated by high-carbonic, methane-dominate, low-salinity fluid at the hydrosilicate alteration stage. These fluids boiled at 360–380 °C and 1300–1400 bars. The subsequent phyllic alteration started again with a high-temperature (>450 °C), high-pressure (1000–1100 bars) and high-salinity (42–47 wt% NaCl-equiv.) fluid, with further incursion of high-carbonic, methane-dominated, low-salinity fluid that boiled at 390–420 °C and 1150–1200 bars. The latest phyllic alteration included the lower-temperature (340–360 °C), lower pressure (370–400 bars) high-carbonic, methane-dominated (but with higher CO2 fraction), low-salinity fluid, and then the low-temperature (250–300 °C) H2O-CO2-CH4-NaCl fluid, with both fluids boiled at the deposit level. The high-salinity aqueous fluids are interpreted to have come from crystallizing granitoid magma, whereas the reduced high-carbonic fluids probably came from a deeper mafic magma source. Both of these fluids potentially contributed to the W-Au-As-Bi-Te-Sb metal budget. Decreasing temperatures coupled with high aCa2+ and fluid boiling promoted scheelite deposition at all post-skarn hydrothermal stages.The deposit is characterized by limited downdip extent of mineralized zones and abundant coarse-grained muscovite-quartz (+apatite, scheelite) aggregates that formed at the phyllic alteration stage. Together with presence of high-temperature, high-pressure and high-salinity fluids directly exsolving from crystallizing magma, this suggests a root level of the mineralized magmatic-hydrothermal system of reduced W skarn deposits.  相似文献

江西省大湖塘石门寺矿区超大型钨矿的发现及找矿意义   总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4  
江西省武宁县大湖塘石门寺超大型钨矿的成功勘查是我国地质找矿工作的重大发现。矿化类型划分为细脉浸染型、隐爆角砾岩型和石英大脉型。前者占总储量的74%,该类型以晋宁晚期黑云母花岗闪长岩为容矿围岩,以燕山中期酸性深成至浅成花岗岩为成矿母岩。矿体厚大且产状平缓,大致平行于黑云母花岗闪长岩与似斑状黑云母花岗岩株顶部的接触面分布,以外接触带为主(I1矿体),水平投影面积1.50km2,单工程最大厚度389.33m,平均厚度143.67m,平均品位0.193%,厚度变化系数63.7%,品位变化系数115.8%。工业矿物主要为白钨矿、黑钨矿、黄铜矿、辉钼矿。矿石组构类型主要有结晶结构、交代结构、细脉状构造、浸染状构造,常见近矿围岩蚀变为黑鳞云母化、云英岩化、绿泥石化,成因类型属岩浆期后高中温热液矿床,工业类型可划归为细脉浸染型白钨矿。石门寺矿区以黑云母花岗闪长岩为容矿围岩的细脉浸染状白钨的发现,改变了以往只专注评价石英大脉型黑钨矿的找矿思路,为矿区及九岭矿集区实现钨多金属找矿突破指明了新的方向。  相似文献

东溪-南关岭金矿为北淮阳东段发现的第一个原生金矿,产于磨子潭-晓天中生代火山盆地边缘,容矿围岩为安山质-英安质火山岩,矿化和蚀变受桐柏-桐城深大断裂带的次级构造带控制。该金矿发育陡倾斜的脉状矿体和缓倾斜的似层状矿体,成因类型为冰长石-绢云母型浅成低温热液金矿。火山岩盆地之下的变质基底可能起到了初始矿源层作用,桐柏-桐城断裂带及其次级构造破碎带为重要的导岩导矿构造,早白垩世强烈的岩浆活动提供了热源、动力源和部分矿源。参照国内外类似金矿的特征,认为本区成矿地质条件良好,有可能隐伏着与石英正长岩体有关的细脉浸染型矿化,晓天火山盆地具有良好的找矿前景。  相似文献
