Geochemistry of beryllium in Bulgarian coals   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The beryllium content of about 3000 samples (coal, coaly shales, partings, coal lithotypes, and isolated coalified woods) from 16 Bulgarian coal deposits was determined by atomic emission spectrography. Mean Be concentrations in coal show great variability: from 0.9 to 35 ppm for the deposits studied. There was no clear-cut relationship between Be content and rank. The following mean and confidence interval Be values were measured: lignites, 2.6 ± 0.8 ppm; sub-bituminous coals, 8.2 ± 3.3 ppm; bituminous coals, 3.0 ± 1.2 ppm; and anthracites, 19 ± 9.0 ppm. The Be contents in coal and coaly shales for all deposits correlated positively suggesting a common source of the element. Many samples of the coal lithotypes vitrain and xylain proved to be richer in Be than the hosting whole coal samples as compared on ash basis. Up to tenfold increase in Be levels was routinely recorded in fusain. The ash of all isolated coalified woods was found to contain 1.1 to 50 times higher Be content relative to its global median value for coal inclusions.Indirect evidence shows that Be occurs in both organic and inorganic forms. Beryllium is predominantly organically bound in deposits with enhanced Be content, whereas the inorganic form prevails in deposits whose Be concentration approximates Clarke values.The enrichment in Be exceeding the coal Clarke value 2.4 to 14.5 times in some of the Bulgarian deposits is attributed to subsynchronous at the time of coal deposition hydrothermal and volcanic activity.  相似文献

Cordierite samples from pegmatites and metamorphic rocks have been analysed for major [electron microprobe analysis (EMPA)] and trace elements [inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS), secondary ion mass spectrometry analyses (SIMS)] as well as for H2O and CO2 (coulometric titration), and the results evaluated in conjunction with published data in order to determine which exchange mechanisms are significant. Apart from the homovalent substitutions FeMg−1 and MnMg−1 on the octahedral site, some minor KNa−1 on the Ch0 channel site, and Fe3+Al−1 on the T11 tetrahedral site, the three most important substitution mechanisms are those for the incorporation of Li on the octahedral sites (NaLi□−1Mg−1), and of Be and other divalent cations on the tetrahedral T11 site (NaBe□−1Al−1 and Na(Mg,Fe2+)□−1Al−1). The dominant role of the last vector is clearly demonstrated. We propose a new generalized formula for cordierite: Ch(Na,K)0–1 VI(Mg,Fe2+,Mn,Li)2 IVSi5 IVAl3 IV(Al, Be, Mg, Fe2+, Fe3+)O18 *xCh(H2O, CO2…). Our results show that the population of (Mg, Fe2+) on the T11-site is limited to about 0.08 a.p.f.u. Other exchange mechanisms that were encountered in experiments operate only under PT conditions or in bulk compositions that are rarely realized in nature. Routine analyses by electron microprobe in which Li and Be are not determined can be plotted as (Mg+Fe+Mn) versus (Si+Al) to assess whether significant amounts of Li and Be could be present. These amounts can be calculated as Li (a.p.f.u.)=Al+Na–4 and Be (a.p.f.u.)=10–2Al–M2+–Na.  相似文献

Melt and fluid inclusions in minerals from the peralkaline granite intrusion and associated mineralized country rocks from the Yermakovka F–Be deposit were studied to characterize the behaviour of trace elements and exsolved fluids in the transition from magmatic to hydrothermal processes. Ore mineralization was mostly due to volatile release from a deep-seated pluton for which crystallization history and fluid exsolution can be tracked by three batches of magma (Gr1→Gr3) intruded at the level of the ore deposition to form the Yermakovka stock. Each batch of the sequential granite group is found to intrude at decreasing temperature (from 840 to 730 °C) and progressively increasing extent of crystallization of magma in the parental pluton. This resulted in the enrichment of the ascending melts in H2O (3.9 to 6.1 wt.%), F (2.6 to 4.1 wt.%) and some incompatible elements (Zr, Nb, Th, Rb, Pb). Although the earliest evidence for the exsolution of homogeneous fluoride–sulphate brine correlates with the final stage of the Gr2 ascent, the most intensive volatile(s) release from the emplaced magmas is shown to occur during their in situ crystallization, which was associated with the separation of exsolved fluid into immiscible phases, brine and low-salinity solution. Compositions of these fluid phases are determined using atomic emission spectroscopy of the appropriate fluid inclusions opened by a laser microprobe and EMPA and SEM–EDS analyses of daughter crystals. The brine phase is enriched in Mo, Mn, Be (up to 17, 8, and 0.3 g/kg, respectively) and contains perceptible abundances of Ce, La, Pb, Zn, whereas the low-salinity phase is enriched only in Be (up to 0.6 g/kg). The selective mobilization of the metals from the melt into fluids is considered to result from the oxidized state of the melt and fluids, peralkalinity of the melt during crystallization, and high F content of the melt. The immiscible fluid phases are shown to migrate together through the solidifying stock giving rise to the albitized granite that is enriched in molybdenite but devoid of Be minerals. In the country rocks, solutions similar to the brine and low-salinity phases of the magmatic fluid made up separate fluid flows, which produced Be and Mo mineralization and were issued predominantly from the parental pluton. Both types of mineralization are nearly monometallic which suggests that of the metals, jointly transported by the brine, only Mo and, in part, Ce and La precipitated separately at the level where the low-salinity solutions deposited Be ores.  相似文献

金绿宝石作为一种铍矿物,不仅能用于高新科技、军事、医疗等领域,也是一种珍贵的宝石。自十八世纪被发现以来,金绿宝石成因和矿床特征被广泛地关注与研究。本文梳理与归纳了金绿宝石矿物学特征、矿床类型与分布,并给出新的矿床划分方案;总结了金绿宝石矿床的形成机制和影响因素等方面研究进展及科学问题。金绿宝石矿床按照成因可分为四个大类,即熔体结晶类、变质成因类、交代成因类和风化成因类;而根据赋存岩石,可将金绿宝石矿床进一步划分为六种亚型,分别是花岗岩-伟晶岩型、变质伟晶岩型、蛇纹岩型、云母岩型、条纹岩型和砂矿型。金绿宝石可在高温的高分异花岗岩岩浆中直接结晶形成,主要与石英、长石、白云母、绿柱石等共生,也可见锌尖晶石、夕线石和红柱石;在高级变质条件下金绿宝石由绿柱石分解得到,在变质伟晶岩型中金绿宝石与长石和石英共生,而在蛇纹岩型中金绿宝石与硅铍石共生;由远端交代作用控制形成的条纹岩型金绿宝石常与萤石、硅铍石和塔菲石共生,而由近端交代作用控制形成的云母型金绿宝石则与金云母、绿柱石和硅铍石共生。金绿宝石矿床仍存在很多有待解决与深入探讨的科学问题:金绿宝石形成的温压范围比较大,可能存在不同晶体相;针对花岗岩-...  相似文献

The cosmogenic nuclide 10Be was analyzed by using accelerator mass spectrometry on an ice core drilled at the Dome Fuji station, inland Antarctica, for 700–1900 yr CE. The measured concentration of 10Be in the Dome Fuji ice core and the derived 10Be flux show similar fluctuations, with both increasing at known solar-activity minima over the last millennium in agreement with earlier observations of 10Be and 14C. Based on the similar nature of the 10Be flux to the reconstructed 14C production rate patterns, a 10Be–14C correlation age model for the Dome Fuji ice core was successfully constructed. This age model agrees well with the initial version of the tephrochronology of the core. The 10Be-flux record contains information on variability in the amount of cosmic radiation incident on the atmosphere, which is mainly attributable to high-frequency change in solar activity and low-frequency background intensity adjustment of the geomagnetic field. High-resolution 10Be analyses of the Dome Fuji ice cores promise to provide potentially important information on the history of cosmic radiation intensity over the past several hundred thousand years.  相似文献

A study of erosion rates by in-situ 10Be concentrations in granites of Miocene high-elevation paleosurfaces in Corsica indicates maximum erosion rates between 8 and 24 mm/kyear. The regional distribution of measured erosion rates indicates that the local climatic conditions, namely precipitation, the petrographic composition of granites, and the degree of brittle deformation govern erosion rates. Chemical erosion dominates even at elevations around 2,000 m in presently subalpine climate conditions. Field evidence indicates that erosion operates by continuous dissolution and/or disintegration to grains (grusification). The erosion rates are relatively high with respect to the preservation of inferred Early Miocene landscapes. We infer temporal burial in the Middle Miocene and significantly lower erosion rates in the Neogene until ∼3 Ma to explain the preservation of paleosurfaces, in line with fission track data. Valley incision rates that are a magnitude higher than erosion rates on summit surfaces result in relief enhancement and long-term isostatic surface uplift. On the other hand, widening and deepening of valleys by cyclic glaciation progressively destroys the summit surface relics.

红磷锰铍石是一种很罕见的铍磷酸盐矿物,在国外,目前仅知发现于芬兰等几个国家,其量也极少。我国是1984年首次发现于福建南平花岗伟晶岩田中的白云母—钠长石—锂辉石型伟晶岩中,沿粗粒原生绿柱石中的微裂隙分布,是伟晶岩形成晚期热液蚀变作用的产物。本文较系统地研究了南平伟晶岩中红磷锰铍石的矿物学特征,包括产状及共生组合、物性及光性、化学成分、X射线衍射特征和红外吸收光谱分析等,最后概述了该矿物的鉴定特征。  相似文献
