FAST VLBI: current status and future plans

The Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope(FAST)is the largest single-dish radio telescope in the world,and is now being commissioned after the first light in September 2016.Very long baseline interferometry(VLBI)is among the key science topics according to the original design.The FAST VLBI system has been established,and the first VLBI fringe has been successfully obtained.FAST will significantly improve the sensitivity of the existing VLBI networks in the future,and some science projects in need of high sensitivity will benefit from its participation.     

Influence of the Choice of Core-Envelope Transition Point on the Binary Merger of Two Main-sequence Components

We have studied the influence of different choices of core-envelope transition point on the final merger of contact binaries with two main-sequence components. A binary of 1.00 + 0.90M⊙ with an initial orbital period of 0.35d is examined. The mass fraction of the primary mixed with the matter of the secondary, qmix, determined by the chosen core-envelope transition point, ranges from 0.04 to 1.00 in our analysis. 22nd IAS Meeting of Sedimentology

The 22nd IAS Meeting of Sedimentology was held in the Convention Centre of the Grand Hotel Adriatic, in a small touristic town Opatija, located on the eastern Adriatic coast where Central Europe and the Mediterranean meet. It was the second IAS Meeting held in Croatia--the first one, 4th IAS Regional Meeting of Sedimentology, was held in Split in 1983. The Meeting in Opatija was organized by the Institute of Geology (Zagreb) and the Croatian Geological Society. The sponsor was Ministry of Science and Technology of the Reoublic of Croatia.     

浙西北江山─绍兴断裂带构造演化特征

江山—绍兴断裂带是中国南方最重要的构造带之一。它是江南陆块与华夏陆块神功运动形成的碰撞拼贴带。它表现出明显的多期变形、构造叠加的特征：神功运动形成近东西向平卧褶皱；印支运动沿断裂带有向北西强烈的推覆挤压。断裂带不同时期的活动反映了不同特征的构造环境，形成不同的构造变形特征，并对两侧的地质历史具有明显的控制作用。     

死海（约旦）里散半岛的重磁勘查

里散半岛位于非洲板块和阿拉伯板块交接处的死海盆地中。该盆地面积大，构造简单且有下沉运动，说明它是一拉张型盆地。由重力异常数据发现死海盆地可划分成沿南北延伸各约３０ｋｍ长的几个块体，里散半岛是其中最深的一个。中生代沉积厚度约６ｋｍ，更新世沉积厚度为９ｋｍ。死海盆地的拉张距离为２０ｋｍ，表明死海盆地的年龄约３．３Ｍａ。里散半岛下部的前寒武纪结晶基底磁化率较高，这与区内延续的构造活动性有关。     

江汉盆地钻孔测井资料确定地应力最大水平主压应力方向

利用钻孔测井资料并运用地层倾角测量信息分析法，给出了江汉盆地地应力最大水平主压应力方向为ＮＥ６０～６５°     

恒星内部电荷屏幕对电子俘获反应的影响

本文分析了在恒星环境下，电荷强屏蔽对原子核电子俘获反应的影响，分析中忽略了电荷屏幕对核跃迁矩阵元的影响。作为例子，分别讨论了电荷屏蔽对核素＾３３Ｓ、＾３０Ｐ和＾５７Ｆｅ的电子俘获率的影响。结果表明：在较低温度和较高密度下，由于电荷屏蔽，其电子俘获率相对于无屏蔽情形有明显降低，这可能对恒星晚期演化和超新星爆发理论带来明显的影响。     

恒星的初始-终止质量关系

本文研究了星族ＩＲＧＢ／ＡＧＢ星外壳结合能为零时的核质量与其初始质量的关系，发现此关系与Ｗｅｉｄｅｍａｎｎ和Ｋｏｅｓｔｅｒ观测得到的初始终止质量关系相符，并与Ｚｈａｎｇ和Ｋｗｏｋ得到的行星状星云核质量分布的观测结果相符合．采用相同的假设，本文还得到了星族ＩＩ恒星的初始终止质量关系．对于相同的初始质量，星族Ｉ恒星的终止质量比星族Ｉ的大～１０％－２０％．     

洛坝铅锌矿床的构造演化分析

洛坝铅锌矿床位于黄诸关韧脆性变形带所波及的范围内,断裂、褶皱、劈理、节理等形态构造类型均很发育,经对小型构造的统计及应力场分析证明,矿区变形主要是在海西—印支期长期存在的南北向古应力场持续作用下形成的。
