黑龙江省地电阻率台网数据在预报工作中的应用

对黑龙江省地电阻率台网近些年的观测资料进行了整理分析,对台网的两个地电阻率台观测资料进行了评估,发现林甸台地电阻率数据受各种干扰非常严重,无法提取震兆信息,而绥化台的观测数据质量较高,映震效能较好。绥化地震台地电阻率观测曲线具有规则年周期变化特征,以此为依据进行各向异性的前兆异常特征的研究,发现利用原始曲线法和归一化月速率方法,在中强地震前震区一定区域内的电阻率各向异性值（S）会出现上升型或下降型异常变化。分析认为速率法对于提取短临异常,判断发震时间较为理想。     

侯德封——新中国第四纪科学研究的创始人、倡导者和支持者

侯德封院土（１９００～１９８０）是新中国一位杰出的地质学家和地球化学家,他是中国第四纪科学研究的创始人、倡导者和支持者。在他任中国科学院地质研究所所长时,成立了第四纪地质研究室。在５０年代初他就提出化学地理这一概念,为后来第四纪地球化学的发展奠定了基础。他是一位兼蓄并容的地质学家,对地质学各分支学科都予关注和支持。侯德封先生一生培育了许多地质学科的新方向,和新机构,他培育了几代中国地质和地球化学家     

Radon signals related to seismic activity in Ecuador,March 1987

A radon concentration measurement survey was carried out in Ecuador using the SSNTD technique. The data analysis shows a definite radon anomaly prior to March 6, 1987;M=6.9 earthquake. Anomalies found before October 18 and October 28th mild earthquakes in 1986 could be correlated with these events. Other anomalies that we cannot correlate with any geophysical event were also found.     

Upwards migration of seismic focii: A forerunner of the 1989 eruption of Mt Etna (Italy)

Data from a portable array of three-component digital stations, run at Mt Etna from 1988 to early 1990, highlight the seismic behaviour of the volcano before the 1989 eruption, one of the most significant in terms of energy of the last two decades. After a two-year period of weak and discotinuous seismicity, the depth of the seismically active volumes was observed to become shallower a few months before the volcanic event. The overall migration of the events, inferred by hypocentral locations and decreases of S-P time differences at two stations, agrees with other geophysical forerunners and allows further insights into the changes in the stress field leading to the eruption.
