Acoustic plane-wave scattering from a rough surface overlying a fluid half-space with a sound-speed distribution subject to a small random variation is considered. Under the assumption that the surface roughness and medium randomness are statistically independent, the scattered field may be derived by first solving for the mean field in the medium, and then incorporating with boundary-perturbation method to obtain the total mean field and the power spectral density of the scattered field. The employed algorithm is compatible to the analysis available in the existing literature so that the formulations are conveniently integrated. The results for the power spectral density have shown that the effects of medium inhomogeneities on the rough surface scattering are limited in a spectral regime where the scattered components have shallow grazing angles. The distribution of the power spectral density over the space is primarily governed by the power spectrum and correlation lengths of the rough surface. 相似文献

We present a numerical simulation of drag partition over rough surfaces. A computational fluid dynamics model is applied with high resolution to simulatingturbulent flows over arrays of roughness elements positioned on asmooth surface. The skin drag on the surface and the pressure drag on the roughnesselements are computed. The simulated drag partition compares well with wind-tunnelmeasurements and theoretical estimates for similar rough surfaces. This confirms that the computational approach offers an alternative to wind-tunnel and field experiments in studying drag and drag partition. The model is then applied to studying drag partition over rough surfaces with various roughness configurations. It is shown that drag partition depends not only on the magnitude of the roughness frontal area but also on the sizes and arrangement of roughness elements, because (1) the pressure drag coefficient is sensitive to roughness-element dimensions and (2) the arragement of roughness elements lead to different interferences of turbulent wakes. This paper presents a granular computing approach to spatial classification and prediction of land cover classes using rough set variable precision methods. In particular, it presents an approach to characterizing large spatially clustered data sets to discover knowledge in multi-source supervised classification. The evidential structure of spatial classification is founded on the notions of equivalence relations of rough set theory. It allows expressing spatial concepts in terms of approximation space wherein a decision class can be approximated through the partition of boundary regions. The paper also identifies how approximate reasoning can be introduced by using variable precision rough sets in the context of land cover characterization. The rough set theory is applied to demonstrate an empirical application and the predictive performance is compared with popular baseline machine learning algorithms. A comparison shows that the predictive performance of the rough set rule induction is slightly higher than the decision tree and significantly outperforms the baseline models such as neural network, naïve Bayesian and support vector machine methods. 相似文献

运用风险分析理论和方法,以北极东北航道6个关键海峡为研究目标,构建东北航道自然环境风险评价指标体系;针对全球气候变暖以及海冰融化背景下北极东北航道航行安全问题,引入犹豫层次分析方法确定指标主观权重、采用粗糙集思想来确定客观权重,集成得到组合权重。基于所建风险分析模型,对其中3个关键海峡的自然环境风险进行了量化评估和时空特征分析,同时计算了2013年8月份6个关键海峡的风险度,模拟了一条最优通航线路并与同时期永盛号轮船的实际航行线路进行了比对。研究表明:(1)2000-2014年东北航道3个关键海峡自然环境风险均呈现减小趋势,红军海峡自然环境风险减小趋势最大;(2)对比3个海峡海峡自然环境风险度,德朗海峡最低,维利基茨基海峡次之,二者均适合通航;红军海峡风险度最高,且不适宜通航;(3)模型模拟路线与实际航线较吻合,对实时航行路线的选择有参考意义。 相似文献
