This paper discusses the structure of the American-Antarctic Ridge based on analysis of the gravity field. Analysis of the gravity field in different reductions and its transforms allowed the revelation of zonal, regional, and local specific features in the field’s structure and their correlation with contemporary notions on the tectonic zoning of the American-Antarctic Ridge and adjacent regions. The lineament structures of the field allowed locating the areas of spreading zones and principal transform and fracture zones. Comparison between the location of these structural features and the interpretation results of shipboard magnetic measurements confirmed the reliability of the received data. Results of the performed investigations presented in the form of structural schemes are a basis for constructing a model of the tectonosphere under the American-Antarctic Ridge. 相似文献

Exoplanet observations have been performed on the automated Pulkovo Observatory telescopes. We have obtained 33 transit light curves for 16 known exoplanets and six transit observations for three exoplanet candidates discovered by the Kepler telescope. Based on our observations, we have reliably confirmed the existence of an exoplanet with an extremely large radius, R pl = 1.83 ± 0.16R Jup, in the system KOI 256 and detected a strong deviation of its orbital revolution from the theoretically predicted one. During the transit of the exoplanet WASP-12b across the stellar disk, we detected bursts that could be caused by the planet transit across spots on the star or by the presence of a satellite around this exoplanet. We detected possible periodic variations in the duration of the exoplanet transit across the stellar disk with time for HAT-P-12b that could be caused by variations in orbital inclination. The transit duration and depth, the central transit time, and the radius and orbital inclination of the planet have been estimated. The equilibrium temperature and albedo have been estimated for several exoplanets. 相似文献

The results of photometric observations of (87) Sylvia, 2006 VV2, (90) Antiopa, and (39) Laetitia asteroids in 2006–2008 are presented. The specific features of light curves are considered for each object. In particular, for asteroid (87) Sylvia, possible mutual phenomena in this triple system are identified. Asteroid 2006 VV2 manifests a strong dependence of the light curve on the filter color, which testifies to the presence of inhomogeneities on its surface. The previously unknown brightness variation period with a duration of about three days was obtained for this asteroid. For binary asteroid (90) Antiopa, the strong dependence of its brightness on the phase angle was noticed; this may testify to the very flattened shape of its components. Considerable time variations of the shape of the light curve for asteroid (39) Laetitia may testify either to its complex shape or to its binary character. 相似文献

In 2009, in five Russian observatories photometric observations of Jupiter’s Galilean satellites during their mutual occultations and eclipses were carried out. Based on these observations, an original method was used to ascertain astrometric results such as the difference between the coordinates of pairs of satellites. Fifty-three phenomena were successfully observed. A total of 94 light curves of satellites were measured. The error in the coordinates of satellites due to random errors in photometry, calculated on all data obtained, was 0.041″ in right ascension and 0.046″ in declination. The discrepancies between the theory and observations in these coordinates was found to be 0.060″ and 0.057″, respectively. The results were uploaded to the common database for all observations of natural satellites of planets at the Natural Satellites Data Center (NSDC), which is available online at http://www.sai.msu.ru/neb/nss/index.htm. For the first time in the practice of photometric observations of satellites in epochs of mutual occultations and eclipses a new method of observation was tested, which eliminates from astrometric results the major systematic errors caused by an inaccurate account of the background level. The tests were conducted in the Terskol Observatory and the observatory of the Crimean laboratory of the Sternberg State Astronomical Institute of the Moscow State University. Astrometric and photometric observations of asteroid (308635) 2005 YU55 were carried out at the computer-aided ZA-320M and MTM-500M telescopes of the Pulkovo observatory in the period of its closest approach to the Earth, from November 9 to 20, 2011. The new orbit of the asteroid changed after its close approach to the Earth was determined. From this orbit, a close approach to Venus on January 19, 2029, was precalculated, and the distance at the closest approach—359000 km—was estimated. From the analysis of the acquired photometric data, the axial rotation period of the asteroid was more accurately determined, and it amounted to 16.3 ± 0.4 h. The color indexes of the asteroid, B-V, V-R, and R-I, were estimated, which allowed the taxonomic class of the asteroid, B, to be determined from them. In addition, from our photometric observations of the asteroid, the earlier unknown change in its brightness with a period of 0.9–1.2 h was detected; the cause of this change has not been completely studied yet. 相似文献

The rate of aerobic oxidation of methane was calculated based on average profiles of the tritiumhelium age of the Baikal waters and concentrations of the dissolved methane in the water column. In the deep lake zone (>200 m), the intensity of oxidation vertically decreases and is (2–0.3) × 10?2 nl CH4l?1 days?1 in southern and central Baikal and (2.8–1.0) × 10?2 nl CH4 l?1 days?1 in northern Baikal. The effective coefficient of the oxidation rate in the lake depressions is 3.6 × 10?4, 3.3 × 10?4, and 3.7 × 10?4 days?1, respectively. At current methane concentrations in the water column, about 80 t of methane is oxidized per year. Oxidation of the dissolved methane in the water column was estimated at a possible increase of its concentration. 相似文献

The astrometric and photometric observations of the potentially hazardous 2009 WZ104 asteroid were carried out at the MTM-500M
and ZA-320M automatic telescopes of the Pulkovo Observatory in December 2009. A total of 686 observations were performed in
the integral band and 146 observations with B, V, R, and I filters on an arc of the orbit of 17°; these accounted for about 77% of all worldwide observations (). On the basis of the obtained data, the orbit was improved and an estimation of the physical parameters of the asteroid
