抗战内迁北碚的中央地质调查所与中国西部科学院

抗战时期,中央地质调查所内迁重庆北碚,中国西部科学院帮助其在纷乱的战时安定下来,开始相对稳定的科研工作,主要在西部地区开展调查、从事科研。地调所的科研血脉得以传承,成为战时国内矿产资源调查研究中心。     

广东河源盆地蛋化石

河源盆地沉积了白垩系-古近系，笔者将这套地层划分为3个岩石地层单位，新建仙塘组和东源组，沿用格岭组。在河源除发现恐龙骨骼、恐龙脚印、龟鳖化石外，于白垩系东源组中还产有大量蛋化石。该组蛋化石的分布，下部以圆形蛋为主，中-上部多见长形蛋。报道了三王坝村副圆形蛋(新种)Paraspheroolithus sanwangbacunensis Fang sp．nov．、风光村树枝蛋(新种)Dendroolithus fengguangcunensis Fang sp．nov．和瑶屯巨形蛋Macroolithus yaotunensis、长形长形蛋Elongatoolithus elongates。     

关于下蜀组沉积初期自然环境面貌的初步推断

下蜀组在长江下游分布很广,与农副业生产关系密切,是许多大型工程建筑的地基持力层。虽然几十年来许多地层古生物学工作者做了大量的研究,使之成为晚新生界的典型层位,但对其成因和代表的环境等尚存在分歧看法。本文讨论一例五十年代可能发现于下蜀组底部的、近年来生境研究得十分清楚的生物化石,认为下蜀组沉积初期的环境可能是温湿、低平、多水域的,沉积成因类型可能是水成的。在生物证据不多的情况下,哪怕增加一点点说明问题的生物线索都显得异常珍贵,因为往往生物反映的环境面貌比较地全面和具体。     

山东山旺盆地中新世两个蚂蚁新属（Heteromyrmex Zhang,1989和Tolylasius Zhang,1989）的修正

1989年,张俊峰发表了山东山旺盆地中新世（N2）2个蚂蚁新属新种：Heteromyrmex atopogaster Zhang,1989和Tolylasius inflatus Zhang,1989。经检验,前一个属是基于不实的观察结果,新属、种应予废除,作为未定属种归人蚁亚科（Formicinae);后一个属的建属根据都非建属的根据,其他的特征系毛蚁属（Lasius)的属征范围,没有建属条件,属应予废,保留其种,转移到毛蚁属。     

On Liaoximordellidae Fam. Nov. (Coleoptera, Insecta) from the Jurassic of Western Liaoning, China

A new insect family Liaoximordellidae (fam. nov.) has been named for a well-preserved specimen which was collected from the Upper Jurassic outcropping west of Daxinfangzi Village, Lingyuan County, Liaoning Province. The specimen can not be put into Mordellidae or Praemordellidae because it possesses some original and intermediate characters in morphology. It serves the study of mordellid evolution. Besides, the fossil group associated with the insect is important for the stratigraphic division of the Mesozoic in western Liaoning.     

The Characteristics of Spinels in Mantle-derivedXenoliths in Cenozoic Basalts from Eastern Chinaand Their Thermal States

The colours and chemical composition variations of 160 spinels in peridotite and pyroxenite xenoliths from Cenozoic basalts in eastern China and their petrogeneses have been studied in detail. The relationships between major elements of spinels are discussed. The equilibrium temperatures, pressures and oxygen fugacities of spinels and their coexisting olivines, orthopyroxenes and clinopyroxenes have been determined using the Brey-kohler' s T-P calculation methods (1990) and Ballhaus' fo2 calculation method (1991). The relationships betweenthe composition and the equilibrium temperatures, pressures or oxygen fugacities of spinels in peridotite xenoliths from the basalts and the stable field of the spinels in the upper mantle have been shown.     

ON A FOSSIL FRESHWATER CRAYFISH FROM EASTERN MONGOLIA

1.—Introduction. Father E. Licent, S. J., during one, of his travels in Eastern Mongolia, discovered, in the Lycoptera and Ephemeropsis shales, the remnants of three Decapod Crustaceans. They belong to a new species, which shall be designated as Astacus licenti, nov. sp., in honour of that indefatigable explorer, that is Father Licent.

碱性玄武岩中幔源岩石包体内尖晶石成分特征及其岩石学成因意义

通过对我国东部北起黑龙江省南至海南省３１个产地的新生代碱性玄武岩中橄榄岩类 （纯橄岩、方辉橄榄岩及二辉橄榄岩） 包体和辉石岩类包体中的１６０ 多个尖晶石电子探针分析数据, 论述了尖晶石的Ｃｒ－Ａｌ, Ｆｅ－Ｍｇ, Ｎｉ－Ｍｇ 主元素及有关比值和端员组分之间的关系, 分析研究了不同岩类包体中尖晶石的颜色、成分及成因之间的联系。并利用所分析的有关橄榄石、斜方辉石、单斜辉石共生矿物的电子探针分析数据, 采用新的、较合理的Ｂｒｅｙ－Ｋｏｈｌｅｒ温度计及Ｋｏｈｌｅｒ－Ｂｒｅｙ 压力计和Ｂａｌｌｈａｕｓ ｅｔａｌ． 氧逸度计算方法进行了计算, 探讨了尖晶石成分与其形成温度、压力和氧逸度状态的关系, 指出了尖晶石成分所反映的地幔亏损程度及部分熔融程度的变化规律及尖晶石 （相） 稳定的温度、压力和氧逸度范围。     

ON THE RECENT MARINE BEDS,AND THE UNDERLYING FRESHWATER DEPOSITS,IN TIENTSIN By E.LICENT AND P.TEILHARD DE CHARDIN

Marine beds, containing numerous well preserved shells, are actuallyexposed in a broad pit recently open, one mile south from the Hoangho-PaihoMuseum (Race Course Road, Tientsin), in order to get the earth required forthe filling of some pools along the Race Course Road.
