The processes of thermal eutrophication of the cooling reservoirs of the Smolensk and Kursk nuclear power plants (NPP) were studied. Data characterizing changes in the concentrations of inorganic forms of nitrogen and phosphates in water during its heating in the NPP cooling system were obtained. Different aspects of the effect of heated water on the production–destruction processes are discussed. The conditions under which the intensity of thermal eutrophication can substantially increase were determined. 相似文献

Based on the results of experiments carried out in the Black Sea and Desnogorsk Reservoir, it is shown that the anthropogenic decrease in the temperature of water medium adversely affects the living organisms. This impact is proposed to be regarded as a case of thermal pollution. 相似文献

The distribution of bacterial plankton in two types of cooling ponds of nuclear power plants is considered. The main factors affecting the abundance of planktonic bacteria in various water masses are identified. 相似文献

The results of investigations of water bodies subjected to constant many-year thermal pollution are proposed to use for the prediction of the consequences of climate warming. General tendencies in changes in the aquatic biota and the distribution of aquatic organisms under the effect of thermal pollution are established by analyzing the materials collected at different cooling ponds of nuclear and thermal power stations. 相似文献
