The study investigated the global and regional phylogeography of the yellowtail kingfish Seriola lalandi by examining genetic diversity and population genetic structure of this species at inter-and intra-ocean level and on a regional scale. DNA fragments of two mitochondrial genes, cytochrome b (Cytb) and cytochrome c oxidase subunit I (COI) and one nuclear gene, recombination activating gene 1 (RAG1), were sequenced to investigate the global-scale phylogeography of this species. The population genetic structure within the South Pacific, as well as along the South African coastline, was examined further using six microsatellite markers. Three distinct clades were identified for S. lalandi, which correspond with previously described subspecies of the North-East Pacific, North-West Pacific and the Southern Hemisphere. Within the latter, additional divergence was observed between the South Pacific and the South-East Atlantic regions. Divergence estimates were indicative of a Pacific origin for S. lalandi populations, because of Pleistocene vicariant events. Microsatellite analyses revealed overall significant genetic differentiation between South African and South Pacific samples. This corroborates recent findings on the global phylogeography of the species. No population differentiation was observed within South Africa, indicating high levels of gene flow.  相似文献

大兴安岭是我国北方一个重要的多金属成矿带。本文从成矿的物质来源和构造作用两方面讨论大兴安岭的成矿系统。Sr、Nd、O、Pb同位素的研究显示大兴安岭成矿物质的深部来源,大兴安岭晚中生代壳幔混熔花岗质岩石组成及其构造环境的研究,表明它们是在板内非造山的伸展环境下形成的A型花岗岩。与南岭花岗岩及其成矿作用的对比研究,将加深对大兴安岭中生代成矿特征的认识。深部构造特征也进一步印证了大兴安岭的成岩-成矿的背景。  相似文献

辽宁梁屯 -矿洞沟杂岩体主要由辉石正长岩、霓辉正长岩和霓辉角闪正长岩等碱性岩石组成 ,具有全岩 Rb- Sr等时线年龄 186 6± 115 Ma和 ISr=0 .70 4 9的同位素特征 ,是我国目前报道的最古老的碱性正长岩类。本文报道了该岩体的锆石U- Pb和全岩 Sm- Nd同位素测试资料 ,获得了锆石 U- Pb同位素年龄为 185 7± 2 0 Ma、Sm- Nd等时年龄为 1787± 180 Ma、εNd(t) =- 4 .8~ - 5 .0的数据。它们反映出该杂岩体形成年龄的上限为 185 7± 2 0 Ma、下限不小于 1787± 180 Ma,来源于富集地幔物质。基于这些数据并结合区域地质资料分析 ,作者提出了华北地台北缘古元古宙存在有富集地幔储库 ,以及辽河群主体形成于 190 0 Ma以前的认识  相似文献

Chalcopyrite, CuFeS2, is an important source of copper and is recovered from ore by the flotation process. Chalcopyrite is commonly associated with other metal sulfides, e.g. bornite, Cu5FeS4. In this study the effect of bornite on the oxidation and leaching of chalcopyrite has been investigated by probing the surface evolution of pure chalcopyrite, bornite, and heterogeneous samples containing both chalcopyrite and bornite using Synchrotron X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (SXPS). Samples were freshly fractured in a N2 atmosphere and the resulting surfaces were oxidised in pH 9 KOH for 30 min or leached in pH 1 HCl for 2 h before being transferred into vacuum without leaving the N2 atmosphere. Analysis of the chalcopyrite region of each sample indicates that exposure to pH 9 for 30 min when bornite is present results in a decreased concentration of hydrophobic polysulfide species (from 43% to 36% of the total S 2p spectrum). In addition to this decrease in hydrophobic species, there is an increase in the amount of hydrophilic sulfate on the surface, from trace amounts to 3%. For those samples leached at pH 1 there was a small decrease in the amount of polysulfide species (43% to 39%), but also a slight increase in disulfide species (16% to 19%) indicating an alteration to the oxidation process at low pH in the presence of bornite.  相似文献

The objective of this study is to describe how a monsoon depression in the western North Pacific, which typically has a diameter of 1000 km, may be transitioned into a tropical cyclone with an inner core of strong winds and deep convection on the order of 100 km. Our previous case study of the pre-Typhoon Man-Yi monsoon depression formation is extended to show that the same cross-equatorial airstream continued and led to enhanced equatorial westerlies on the equatorward side of the pre-Man-Yi circulation, and a surge in the trade easterlies was also present on the poleward side. As these surges in the near-equatorial flow are inertially unstable, inward-directed wave-activity fluxes then led to flux convergence over the eastern vorticity maximum of the monsoon depression, which resulted in a scale contraction to that of a pretropical cyclone seedling. Eight case studies of the transitions of monsoon depressions during 2009 are presented that document persistent inward-directed wave-activity fluxes over a vorticity maximum within the monsoon depression is a key feature of each transition. In some transitions, the same cross-equatorial airstream as led to the monsoon depression formation continues as the primary airstream, and in other transitions another airstream to the west or enhanced tropical easterlies become the primary airstream. Analysis of 10 non-transitioning monsoon depressions during 2009 indicated the airstream wave-activity flux did not persist after the formation of the monsoon depression. In another 11 non-transitioning monsoon depressions, the inward-directed wave-activity flux was small and no region of wave-activity flux convergence was associated with the vorticity maximum in the monsoon depression.  相似文献

 Two methods were used to quantify the flux of volcanic sulphur (as the equivalent mass of SO2) to the stratosphere over different timescales during the Holocene. A combination of satellite-based measurements of sulphur yields from recent explosive volcanic eruptions with an appropriate rate of explosive volcanism for the past 200 years constrains the medium-term (∼102 years) flux of volcanic sulphur to the stratosphere to be ∼1 Mt a–1, with lower and upper bounds of 0.3 and 3 Mt a–1. The short-term (∼10- to 20-year) flux due to small magnitude (1010–1012 kg) eruptions is of the order of 0.4 Mt a–1. At any time the instantaneous levels of sulphur in the stratosphere are dominated by the most recent (0–3 years) volcanic events. The flux calculations do not attempt to address this very short timescale variability. Although there are significant errors associated with the raw sulphur emission data on which this analysis is based, the approach presented is general and may be readily modified as the quantity and quality of the data improve. Data from a Greenland ice core support these conclusions. Integration of the sulphate signals from presumed volcanic sources recorded in the GISP2 core provides a minimum estimate of the 103–year volcanic SO2 flux to the stratosphere of 0.5–1 Mt a–1 over the past 9000 years. The short-term flux calculations do not account for the impact of rare, large events. The ice-core record does not fully account for the contribution from small, frequent events. Partition coefficients for olivine-melt and orthopyroxene-melt systems   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
Thermodynamic analysis shows that olivinemelt and orthopyroxene-melt partition coefficients for many elements should be approximately linear functions of DMg. These simple relationships can be combined with the constraint of mineral stoichiometry to allow the direct calculation of partition coefficients for these elements if the major element chemistry of the melt phase is known. A large dataset of published and unpublished experimental mineral-melt pairs for compositions in the range komatiite to andesite has allowed the determination of the empirical constants required for this calculation. The precision of these parameterisations is demonstrated by comparing the values calculated with those observed. Comparison of phenocryst-matrix partition coefficients with those measured from experimental mineral-melt pairs demonstrates that experimentally determined partition coefficients are equivalent to those in magmatic processes. There are therefore no significant kinetic factors precluding magmatic partitioning being reproduced on an experimental timescale. The model provides a set of simple tests for equilibrium and enables the chemical evolution of a magma fractionating olivine or orthopyroxene to be modelled. An empirical equation for distinguishing orthopyroxene from other low-Ca pyroxenes in chemical analyses of experimental runs is also presented.  相似文献
