This work presents the first results of a comparative study on the composition and distribution of organic matter (OM) (TOC, n-alkanes, pristane, phytane) in ferromanganese nodules and underlying sediments (0–1 cm) from three sites within the Clarion–Clipperton Fracture Zone, Pacific Ocean. Samples were collected during Cruise 120 of the RSS James Cook in 2015. The studied nodules differ in size, shape, and morphology. The TOC content in the nodules is 0.15% on average with insignificant variations which is less than in the sediments. The molecular composition of n-alkanes in the nodules is mainly determined by modern bacterial activity with high preservation of terrigenous n-alkanes in the environment of the ore deposit formation.  相似文献

The formation of first molecules, negative Hydrogen ions, and molecular ions in a model of the Universe with cosmological constant and cold dark matter is studied. The cosmological recombination is described in the framework of modified model of the effective 3-level atom, while the kinetics of chemical reactions is described in the framework of the minimal model for Hydrogen, Deuterium, and Helium. It is found that the uncertainties of molecular abundances caused by the inaccuracies of computation of cosmological recombination are approximately 2–3%. The uncertainties of values of cosmological parameters affect the abundances of molecules, negative Hydrogen ions, and molecular ions at the level of up to 2%. In the absence of cosmological reionization at redshift z = 10, the ratios of abundances to the Hydrogen one are 3.08 × 10–13 for H, 2.37 × 10–6 for H2, 1.26 × 10–13 for H2+, 1.12 × 10–9 for HD, and 8.54 × 10–14 for HeH+.  相似文献

New method for calculating parameters of low-velocity components of bipolar outflows in molecular clouds is presented. The method takes into account all possible bipolar flow effects on spectral lines: the line profile asymmetry, the presence of line wings, and the systematic shift of the line profile as a whole along the axis of the outflow. The method is adapted to calculating parameters of weak bipolar outflows and flows with low S/N ratios in their spectra. Using this method, the parameters of bipolar outflows in the source G122.0-7.1 are calculated.  相似文献

Data on the mineral and chemical composition of samples of sulfide deposits from the Broken Spur and TAG (Mid-Atlantic Ridge) are presented. The main minerals in the Broken Spur field are marcasite, pyrrhotite, pyrite, chalcopyrite, and sphalerite; in sample from TAG: chalcopyrite, pyrite, and marcasite. It has been established that these sulfide minerals of Fe, Cu, and Zn are natural ion exchangers and belong to the class of adsorbents. Exchange capacity of sulfide minerals in terms of heavy metal cations (Ni2+, Co2+, Cd2+, and Pb2+) is 0.022–0.32 mg-equiv/g. In the exchange reaction products, the mineral composition of sulfide deposits is retained, and new phases do not appear. It is suggested that the adsorbed heavy metal cations populate either vacant cationic or interstitial defect sites in the structures of sulfide minerals. Bond strength of the adsorbed heavy metal cations with the main structural elements of minerals is low, which is confirmed by their high extraction in an acid medium. The results of adsorption-desorption experiments indicate two forms of heavy metal cations in sulfide minerals: adsorbed (basic) and chemically bound.  相似文献

This study presents data on Fe–Mn nodules first recovered from the northeastern part of the Kara Sea. Analysis of the geochemical indicators of organic matter and major and trace element compositions of nodules showed that samples with strong Mn enrichment (Mn/Fe = 2.38, on average) are dominated by terrestrial organic matter (OM), whereas Fe-rich samples (Mn/Fe = 0.20, on average) are dominated by marine biogenic OM. The variation in the n-alkane abundances in the studied nodules is independent of the sampling sites and nodule morphology. This study was conducted for the first time in the Artic region.

The high velocity of the apparent motion of near Earth asteroids (NEAs) is the main problem in their observation. This problem is solved at the Research Institute Nikolaev Astronomical Observatory (RI NAO) with a combined observation method using the time delay and integration mode of a CCD array and a camera rotator. A total of 1317 positions of 74 NEAs were obtained at RI NAO in 2008–2012. All the observations were made using the combined-observation method. The error in observations made at RI NAO is compared with the results that were obtained at other observatories in this work.  相似文献

We present new radio observations of molecular lines in the region of high mass star formation, namely G122.0-7.1. A large-scale map of the emission observed in the 12CO (J = 1−0) and 13CO (J = 1−0) lines covers the area of 15′ × 9′, revealing two dense regions. The molecular bipolar outflows have been resolved in ASO1 region. It is associated with the known candidate YSO nearby IRAS 0042 + 5530. Also, a new dense region has been discovered in the North-Western part of the G122.0-7.1 at a distance of 5′ from IRAS 0042 + 5530. Its position is close to the peak of 4850 MHz emission.
