Spectrophotometric monitoring of the nucleus of the galaxy NGC 4151 was carried out for 13 nights from 23 January to 10 June 1988 in the wavelength range 4000–7000 Å. A 0.5-m meniscus telescope, a slitless spectrograph, and the highly sensitive, digital television complex of the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory were used. The exposure time was 150–300 sec, while the time resolution, allowing for recording spectra of the comparison star, was about 30 min. The results show that the galaxy’s nucleus was in a deep minimum. On a time scale of days to months, the synthetic magnitudes Vsyn and the fluxes Fcon in the continuum had a similar time dependence; the amplitude of variability reached 15% in January-April, while a brightness increase of 30% was recorded on 13 and 14 May. The time variations of the fluxes in the first (Hβ + [O III] 4959 Å + 5007 Å) and second (Hα + [NII] 6548 Å + 6584 Å) blends were different.  相似文献

This is a study of optical emission lines of the nucleus of the Seyfert galaxy NGC 3227. This work is based on 53 spectrograms obtained with the 6-m telescope at the brightness maximum of this galactic nucleus on January 12–15, 1977. A set of profiles of the hydrogen Hα, and Hβ lines and the equivalent widths (EWλ) of six emission lines and blends averaged over series of observations are presented. Broadening of the hydrogen line profiles was observed over the three days. At a level of 0.50 times the peak brightness the hydrogen line profiles were broadened by 12%, 35%, and 44%, respectively. The broadening of the Hβ line was accompanied by a reduction in its equivalent width (EW ; ). It is suggested that a flare was observed in the nucleus of the galaxy on a time scale of 3 days, possibly caused to a shock wave in long-lived flows from the galaxy nucleus. __________ Translated from Astrofizika, Vol. 49, No. 4, pp. 499–510 (November 2006).  相似文献

We present the results of our long-term photometric and spectroscopic observations at the Russian–Turkish RTT-150 telescope for the optical counterpart to one of the best-known sources, representatives of the class of fast X-ray transients, IGR J17544-2619. Based on our optical data, we have determined for the first time the orbital and physical parameters of the binary system by the methods of Doppler spectroscopy.We have calculated theoretical spectra of the optical counterpart by applying non- LTE corrections for selected lines and obtained the parameters of the stellar atmosphere (T eff = 33 000 K, log g = 3.85, R = 9.5 R , and M = 23 M ). The latter suggest that the optical star is not a supergiant as has been thought previously.  相似文献

A digital television complex, equipped with an original slitless spectrograph with transpaarent diffraction gratings, and operating on the 0.5-meter telescope of the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory, was used for spectrophotometric observations of the nuclei of Seyfert galaxies. The absolute energy distributions in the spectra of the nuclei of the Seyfert galaxies NGC 4501, NGC 7469, and NGC 1275 in the wavelength range 4000–7000 Å were obtained. Synthetic stellar magnitudes in the V band were calculated. The apparatus can be used to investigate the spectral variability of emission from the nuclei of Seyfert galaxies on a time scale of tens of minutes or more.Translated from Astrofizika, Vol. 39, No. 1, pp. 101–110, January–March, 1996.  相似文献
