In this paper exact solutions of the five-dimensional vacuum cosmological field equations based on Lyra geometry are obtained.
Further it is shown that neither dust distribution nor perfect fluid distributions survive for the model. Some properties
of the vacuum model are also discussed. 相似文献

Severe weather conditions create negative impacts on humans. One of the severe weather conditions is storms. In the scope of this study, the storm effects on the Marmara Region were investigated using data for the period 2000 to 2010 giving the hourly averaged wind direction and speed in the Marmara Region, as provided by the Turkish Meteorological Service. The monthly distribution of storms has been estimated and their daily variability has been investigated. Additionally, air masses that cause storms have been determined by using NCEP/NCAR re-analysis data. Other than this, by studying the storms, extreme values have been ascertained and northerly values from these storm values (since in percentage terms they are larger) and hourly variability in a single day for 17 weather stations have been depicted graphically. The days that northerly storms reached extreme values are shown with the meteorological maps (surface chart, 850, 700, 500, and 300 hPa) and the temperature diagrams for Istanbul in the Marmara Region have been examined and analysed. 相似文献

We have constructed Locally Rotationally Symmetric Bianchi type I (LRSBI) cosmological models in the f(R,T) theory of gravity when the source of gravitation is the bulk viscous fluid. The models are constructed for f(R,T)=R+2f(T) and f(R,T)=f 1(R)+f 2(T). We found that in the first case the model degenerates into effective stiff fluid model of the universe. In the second case we obtained degenerate effective stiff fluid model as well as general bulk viscous models of the universe. Some physical and kinematical properties of the models are also discussed. 相似文献

Coal gasification with CO2 has emerged as a cleaner and more efficient way for the production of energy, and it offers the advantages of CO2 mitigation policies through simultaneous CO2 sequestration. In the present investigation, a feasibility study on the gasification of three low-quality, high-sulphur coals from the north-eastern region (NER) of India in a CO2 atmosphere using thermogravimetric analysis (TGA-DTA) has been made in order to have a better understanding of the physical and chemical characteristics in the process of gasification of coal. Model-free kinetics was applied to determine the activation energies (E) and pre-exponential factors (A) of the CO2 gasification process of the coals. Multivariate non-linear regression analyses were performed to find out the formal mechanisms, kinetic model, and the corresponding kinetic triplets. The results revealed that coal gasification with CO2 mainly occurs in the temperature range of 800°–1400°C and a maximum of at around 1100°C. The reaction mechanisms responsible for CO2 gasification of the coals were observed to be of the ‘nth order with autocatalysis (CnB)’ and ‘nth order (Fn) mechanism’. The activation energy of the CO2 gasification was found to be in the range 129.07–146.81 kJ mol?1. 相似文献

In this paper we constructed five dimensional axially symmetric cosmological model generated by a cloud of strings with particles
attached to them in Lyra manifold. Out of the two different cases obtained one case leads to the five dimensional vacuum universe
in general theory of relativity while the other case yields a string cosmological model in Lyra manifold. In the cosmic string
model we observed that the sum of tension density and rest energy density of strings vanishes and this model is also inflationary. 相似文献

In this paper, we have calculated the corrected Hawking temperature for the Warped AdS3 rotating Black Hole by using the tunneling method beyond the semi-classical approximation for the Warped AdS3 rotating Black Hole. For this purpose, we have isolated the r-t sector of the metric from the angular part throughout a coordinate transformation near the horizon. 相似文献

This study was carried out to analyze groundwater quality in selected villages of Nalbari district, Assam, India, where groundwater
is the main source of drinking water. 40 groundwater samples collected from hand pumps and analyzed for pH, EC, TDS, Ca2+, Mg2+, Na+, K+, HCO3
−, SO4
2−, Cl− and F−. Chemical analysis of the groundwater showed that mean concentration of cations in (mg/L) is in the order Ca2+ > Mg2+ > Na+ > K+ while for anions it is HCO3
− > Cl− > SO4
2− > F−. Fluoride concentration was recorded in the range of 0.02–1.56 mg/L. As per the desirable and maximum permissible limits
for fluoride in drinking water recommended by WHO and by Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), which is 1.5 mg/L, the groundwater
of about 97% of the samples were found to be suitable for drinking purpose. The suitability of the groundwater for irrigation
purpose was investigated by some determining factors such as sodium adsorption ratio, soluble sodium percentage, Kelly’s ratio
and electrical conductivity. The value of the sodium absorption ratio and electrical conductivity of the groundwater samples
were plotted in the US Salinity laboratory diagram for irrigation water. Most of the groundwater samples fall in the field
of C2S1 and C3S1 indicating medium to high salinity and low sodium water, which can be used for irrigation on almost all types
of soil with little doubt of exchangeable sodium. The hydrochemical facies shows that the groundwater is Ca-HCO3 type. 相似文献

Coal is one of the most available energy sources on earth. The mineralogical and geo-chemical aspects of coals are of prime importance for their utilization. The mineralogical composition, ash chemistry, and ash fusion temperature (AFT) ranges of raw and beneficiated coals are investigated in this paper. Further, the mineral matter transformation during the beneficiation processes viz. by oxidative desulfurization; alkali extraction and ultrasonication along with the relationship of the ash fusion temperature (AFT) ranges with the ash components in the coal are discussed. The major oxides present in the coal and beneficiated coal ashes include Fe2O3, Al2O3, SiO2, CaO, and MgO, which significantly affect the ash fusion temperature ranges. Initial deformation temperature (IDT) changes with the ash components and, increases with the increase in the Fe2O3 content in coal ash. With increasing concentrations of both Al2O3 and SiO2, the initial deformation temperature (IDT) also increases. The increasing and decreasing nature of the initial deformation temperature (IDT) observed is also dependent upon the CaO and MgO contents. XRD analysis of the coal samples revealed significant changes in mineral matter contents with the types of beneficiation processes adopted for coal. The minerals like chlorite, illite, montmorillonite, pyrite, calcite, aragonite, and alumina have been removed during the beneficiation processes. The FTIR spectra also indicate the presence of minerals like gypsum (G), calcite (C) aragonite (Ar), quartz (Q) and kaolinite (K) in the raw coal and their subsequent removal after the beneficiation processes. 相似文献

In this paper we have taken an attempt to construct a five dimensional perfect fluid cosmological model within the framework
of Lyra manifold. It is found that neither perfect fluid nor dust distributions survive. Finally the exact solutions of the
vacuum field equations are obtained. 相似文献
