Northeast Asia is an area with relative concentrations of resources, a complex ecological environment pattern, and a marked human-land contrast relationship. This area has significance for analyzing land cover patterns and variations for regional sustainable development among the trans-boundary areas of China, Russia, and Mongolia. In this paper, the transect analysis research tool and transfer matrix method are used to capture the regional land cover change characteristics by using Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer(MODIS) datasets recorded from 2001 to 2012.The spatial distribution results show that forests have increased dramatically, cropland increased marginally, and grassland and shrubs decreased totally. The inter-annual variation, results show a steady and slowly increasing trend for grassland and shrubs, dramatic fluctuation features with an increasing trend for forest land, and zigzag wave changing characteristic for cropland. The total land use dynamic degree (TLUDD)was steady, with an overall slightly increasing trend.  相似文献

The duration of travel climate comfort degree is an important factor that influences the length of the tourism season and the development of a tourism destination. In this study, we used the monthly average meteorological data for the last 10 years from 46 weather stations in Heilongjiang Province (China) and Primorsky Krai (Russia) to calculate the temperature-humidity index (THI) and wind chill index (WCI) based on ArcGIS software interpolation technology. We obtained the climate comfort charts of the study area with a grid size a 1 km 2 grid size, and analyzed the spatial distribution of comfort for each month. The results show the following: 1) The THI and WCI of the cross-border region gradually decrease from south to north and from low altitude to high altitude. The annual comfortable climate period is longer when analyzed in terms of the WCI rather \than the THI. 2) The travel climate comfortable period of the study area shows significant regional difference and the length of the comfortable period in Heilongjiang Province is 4 to 5 months. Meanwhile, the period in Primorsky Krai decreases from south to north and the length of the comfortable period length in its southern region can reach 7 months. 3) The predominant length of the climate comfortable period in the cross-border area is 5 months per year, and it covers 46.6% of the total area, while areas that have a climate comfortable period of 2 months are the most limited, covering less than 0.3% of the area. The results provide a scientific basis for the utilization and development of a meteorological tourism resources and touring arrangements for tourists in the cross-border region between China and Russia.  相似文献

The far-side solar eruptive event SOL2014-09-01 produced hard electromagnetic and radio emissions that were observed with detectors at near-Earth vantage points. Especially challenging was a long-duration >?100 MeV \(\gamma\)-ray burst that was probably produced by accelerated protons exceeding 300 MeV. This observation raised the question how high-energy protons could reach the Earth-facing solar surface. Some preceding studies discussed a scenario in which protons accelerated by a shock driven by a coronal mass ejection high in the corona return to the solar surface. We continue with the analysis of this challenging event, involving radio images from the Nançay Radioheliograph and hard X-ray data from the High Energy Neutron Detector (HEND) of the Gamma-Ray Spectrometer onboard the Mars Odyssey space observatory located near Mars. HEND recorded unocculted flare emission. The results indicate that the emissions observed from the Earth’s direction were generated by flare-accelerated electrons and protons trapped in static long coronal loops. They can be reaccelerated in these loops by a shock wave that was excited by the eruption, being initially not driven by a coronal mass ejection. The results highlight ways to address the remaining questions.  相似文献

We study pre-eruptive, eruptive, and post-eruptive phenomena related to a CME that occurred on November 23, 2000 by means of joint analyses of data from various spectral ranges. Almost all known CME-associated phenomena were observed during this event, i.e., a filament eruption, solar flare, dimmings, and a post-eruptive arcade formation. Following a chain of events observed in various spectral ranges, we find that the event occurred in an activity complex consisting of active regions 9231 and 9238, and that it was triggered by a magnetic flux emergence, which caused a flare in AR 9231. In turn, the flare triggered activation and eruption of the filament followed by the CME and the flare in AR 9238 in which the post-eruptive arcade was observed. We discuss some characteristics of the flare and CME and also estimate the magnetic field strength in the coronal arcade to be about 200 G from spatially resolved polarization measurements in microwaves with radio telescopes. In this particular case, the only significant emission mechanism is optically thin free-free emission, and the possible contribution of nonthermal emissions cannot change our estimate of the magnetic field strength in the corona. However, generally one should make sure that the nonthermal contribution cannot be important in similar cases; otherwise, the magnetic field can be well overestimated. Here, we specifically address the identification technique of the radio emission mechanism.  相似文献

We investigate the problem of transition from galactic cosmic rays to extragalactic ultra-high energy cosmic rays. Using the model for extragalactic ultra-high energy cosmic rays and observed all-particle cosmic ray spectrum, we calculate the galactic spectrum of iron nuclei in the energy range 108–109 GeV. The flux and spectrum predicted at lower energies agree well with the KASCADE data. The transition from galactic to extragalactic cosmic rays is distinctly seen in spectra of protons and iron nuclei, when they are measured separately. The shape of the predicted iron spectrum agrees with the Hall diffusion.  相似文献
