The slowing-down Boltzmann equation for generalized boundary conditions is considered and transformed to one-speed equation in Laplace space. Exact relations between energy reflection and transmission coefficients for a problem with diffuse reflecting boundary conditions and the albedos for the problem with isotropic boundary conditions are obtained. The Galerkin method is used to calculate the energy reflection coefficient for a finite slab for different thicknesses at different mass ratiosA, target to projectile mass, at different synthetic-scattering kernels. The results for partial heat fluxes for isotropic and anisotropic-scattering dispersive medium are given. The results obtained for isotropic boundary conditions are compared well with the exact results.  相似文献

The Padé approximant technique is used to calculate these intensities in inhomogeneous and homogeneous media. Abstract

Suspended sediment dynamics influenced by rainstorms and factors controlling changes in suspended sediment concentrations, were investigated during hydrological events in a small scale, since small agricultural drainage basins can be considered as one of the most important sediment sources. Suspended sediment concentrations were measured during discharge waves in the years 1987–1990, 1992, 2000 and 2001. Positive and anti-clockwise hysteresis was observed at Rybárik basin. A procedure of isolating factors controlling suspended sediment concentrations and dynamics has given a more realistic view on production and transport of suspended sediment. It is confirmed that spatial and temporal variability of sediment availability and suspended sediment dilution by the baseflow, mainly in the case of two or more waves immediately following one after another, significantly control suspended sediment concentrations and dynamics.  相似文献

Exact relations for radiation heat flux at the boundaries of a slab with diffusely reflecting boundary conditions and internal source are obtained in terms of the reflection and transmission coefficients of a source free slab with isotropic boundary conditions. The integral equation defining the radiation heat flux contains explicitly the internal source. So, the particular solution for radiative transfer equation is not required. Available exact values for albedos give exact values of radiation heat flux. Padé approximant technique is used to obtain numerical values for homogenous media.  相似文献

The study of 1000-km seismic reflection profiles, along the Northern Moroccan margin, allowed browsing new imaging in detail about the regional geological structures and their functioning. To achieve this goal, we elaborated a high-resolution depth model and a global tectonic sketch. The influence of recent tectonic activity is manifested by normal and strike-slip faults, trending mainly 70° N and 125° N. In this segment, the Nekor strike-slip fault seems to be connected to a secondary major fault system that changes direction from 30° N to 70° N, and changing behavior to left-lateral strike-slip fault with normal component. Analysis of local seismic activity recorded from 1990 to 2014 with moderate magnitudes activity shows alignments in clear superposition with the detected active faults in seismic reflection lines.  相似文献
