On the calculation of perturbations in the radial position of satellites

With the aim of analyzing the errors in the radial position of satellites, we give in this paper the expressions for the radial perturbation which include the complete zeroth- and first-order terms in the orbital eccentricity. A simpler and faster method of calculating the perturbation is given.     

Morphological characters of the two-ribbon flare of 1981 May 13 and their explanation

We give a summary of the morphology of the two-ribbon flare of 1981 May 13. One striking feature is that the Ha flare began at about 0338' UT and the double-ribbon structure was formed about 0346, $\text{before}$ the impulsive phase of the radio 3 cm burst at 04 11 UT. The 3 cm radio burst flux beginning at 03 33 UT showed only slow, stepwise increases lasting half an hour until the impulsive phase and this type of increase is usually regarded to be a typical thermal process. Each step in the radio flux corresponded to a variation in the Ha flare, showing that the radio and Hα emissions during this period came from the same thermal source. In this paper, we explain this behaviour in terms of Hyder's model: we think that the magnetic trough supporting the solar prominence rose for some reason, causing the prominence matter (the dark filaments) to fall along the magnetic lines and to hit the chromosphere and trigger off the flare. We give rough estimates of the energy density, the height of prominence and the infall matter at the different radio increments. We also give a qualitative explanation for the appearances of the single-peak structure in the radio burst at 0411 and the covering of the sunspot shortly after at 04 13 and propose several possible mechanisms.

FITS、BMP和SCR图象格式及相互转换

本文详细介绍图象的ＦＩＴＳ格式、ＢＭＰ格式和ＳＣＲ格式。ＦＩＴＳ格式已经是天文界的通用格式，几乎所有的天文软件包都支持这一格式，而ＢＭＰ格式在ＰＣ计算机上有广泛的运用，有大量ＰＣ软件支持ＢＭＰ图象的显示，处理和打印。云南天文台的ＳＣＲ格式是ＰＣ机采集ＣＣＤ图象所使用的格式。实现这三种格式的相互转换，就可以自由的将ＣＣＤ图象在ＰＣ机和工作站上进行各种处理。转换的包括图象头和图象数据的转换，其关键在于交换数据的高低字节。     

A THREE-DIMENSIONAL ELASTIC NESTED-GRID MESO-(β-γ)SCALE ATMOSPHERIC MODEL——PARTI:MODEL DESCRIPTION

A three-dimensional elastic nonhydrostatic mesoscale(β-γ)model with nested-grid is presented.It uses a set of fullequations in terrain-following coordinates as its basic dynamic frame,which is solved with a time-splitting algorithmfor acoustic and gravity waves.The model physical parameterization includes a K-theory subgrid eddy mixing for cloudand free atmosphere,a bulk planetary boundary layer parameterization,and three types of sofisticated cloudmicrophysics schemes with double-parameters for hail-bearing clouds,warm clouds and snowing clouds respectively.The model is designed to be used flexibly for simulations of a variety of meso-and small-scale atmospheric processes,and can be improved as a regional and local operational NWP system in future.     

同震阶变异常的特征与机制分析

本文对徐州地震台JB—72水平摆倾斜仪1988年11月至1989年5月间所记录到的24次同震阶变进行了深入分析,认为:a.造成同震阶变的原因是多方面的,而反应了地球应变场准静态调整的同震阶变才是有价值的价变异常;b.多观测手段的地震台站,同震阶变应该在不止一台仪器上得到响应。

铜川王石凹黑色高岭石粘土岩的成因分析

黑色高岭石粘土岩，是铜川王石凹煤矿石炭纪煤系地层顶部，五号煤层的上部一层稳定的煤矸石。经偏光显微镜及费氏台测试光性特征、化学试验及分析鉴定表明，这是一种由高岭石组成的，成分很纯、颗粒大、结晶良好的高岭石粘土岩。据微量元素含量分析，此高岭石系淡水沉积物。     

The theory of relativity and super-luminal-speeds

According to some local properties of Lorentz transformation, Einstein stated: Velocities greater than that of light have no possibility of existence. He neglected to point out the applicable range of the special theory of relativity. In fact, it could only be applied to the subluminal-speed. This paper shows that if we think of the possibility of the existence of the superluminal-speed and redescribe the special theory of relativity following Einstein's way, a new kinematic theory would be founded. The new theory would retain all kinematical meaning of the special theory of relativity when matters move with subluminal-speed and would give new content when matters move with superluminal-speed. The paper also discusses the observation principle for the motions with superluminal-speed.     

Possible chemical structures and biological precursors of different vitrinites in coal measure in Northwest China

Chemical structure of Jurassic vitrinites isolated from the coals in basins in NW China have been checked using solid state ¹³C NMR and flash pyrolysis-GC/MS. Study shows some Jurassic collodetrinites are rich in aliphatic products in pyrolysates, consisting with the high amount of methylene carbon in ¹³C NMR spectra. In contrast, pyrolysates of Jurassic collotelinites are rich in phenols and alkylbenzenes. Also one Pennsylvanian and one Permian vitrinite selected from the Ordos basin, NW China have been checked for comparison. The proportion of aliphatics is low in pyrolysates, and aliphatic carbon peak in ¹³C NMR spectrum of Permian vitrinite is mostly composed of gas-prone carbons compared with collodetrinites in those Jurassic basins. But both pyrolysis and ¹³C NMR data shows the Pennsylvanian vitrinite is not only gas-prone but also oil-prone. Relatively high proportion of long chain aliphatic structure of some Jurassic vitrinite in Junggar, Turpan-Hami basins may be due to the contribution of liptodetrinites, which may be included during the formation of vitrinites. And it seems that suberinite is the most possible precursor of long chain aliphatics in the structure of Jurassic collodetrinite.
