新沂-泗县地震危险区地震活动和地震构造

运用深浅部构造对比研究、构造解析技术，结合历史地震资料、中强震观测资料分析、地震活动性分析结果，探讨中强震过渡区地震构造环境和地震韵律的研究途径，圈定出新沂—泗县地震危险区。对该危险区进行立体综合剖析，推演出未来中强震发生的空间部位，并预测了该区未来可能发生地震的震源深度、震级、地震长轴衰减方向、地震复发间隔等参数。     

地震前兆仪器嵌入TCP/IP协议的初步试验

根据“十五”总体设计方案的要求，对TCP／IP协议在地震前兆仪器上的实现进行了试验，在有关设备上进行了程序开发，取得了预期的效果。     

2002年四川仁寿双流4.6级地震震害调查

2002年5月31日在四川省仁寿县与双流县交界地区发生一次ML4．6地震，震中烈度Ⅵ度。宏观震中大致在仁寿县高家镇以西一带，地震使部分民房遭到破坏，造成直接经济损失约545万元。     

安宁河-则木河-小江带强震趋势的预测依据和应用问题

分析了近年沿安宁河一则木河一小江断裂带和大凉山断裂带出现的突出地震活动性、跨断层地壳形变和宏、微观异常现象。根据这些异常依据分析了强震趋势及预测应用问题，并进行了有益的思考。     

上海及邻区的地壳形变速率与地震活动

对上海佘山地震台伸缩仪的数字记录资料进行去趋势以及地壳形变速率的分析表明：伸缩仪EW向在200l年5～7月存在破年变趋势异常，并且该测项的形变速率在2001年3～8月存在高于正常背景值的异常。结合GPS资料、应力场、地震活动性的情况分析后认为，佘山台的形变速率异常可反映上海及邻区应力场的部分信息，该信息对地震活动具有一定前兆意义。因此，应用形变数字化资料计算地壳形变速率，可作为对地层活动以及日常地震预测的一种分析方法。     

岳阳及周边地区地震构造与地震活动性研究

陈述了岳阳市及周边地区的主要断裂带及其地震活动，归纳了发震部位。认为利用小震条带预报本区地震具有积极意义，并运用数理统计法预测了本区今后50及100年内的地震活动水平。     

海洋天然气水合物的地球物理研究(III):似海底反射

对天然气水合物研究中与似海底反射有关的一些观点进行讨论 ,以推动天然气水合物地震研究的认识 .30年的似海底反射研究表明 ,似海底反射仍然是指示天然气水合物沉积存在的最好手段之一 .有似海底反射 ,是可以认为存在天然气水合物的 .虽然存在“游离气带速度模型”与“水合物楔速度模型” ,但似海底反射主要由天然气水合物稳定带底界下方的游离气引起 .BSR上方的天然气水合物、下方的游离气与天然气再循环和含甲烷的流体流有关 .由于天然气水合物稳定带计算控制因素难以准确确定等因素 ,似海底反射与天然气水合物稳定带底界只是近似的对应关系 .需从动态的观点考虑天然气水合物 天然气体系及其与似海底反射的关系 .     

Study of crustal structure with S—wave data from Maqen—Jingbian profile

2-D crustal velocity structure and vp/vs are obtained by processing and interpretation of S-wave data from Maqen-Jingbian deep seismic sounding(DSS)profile.The result shows that there exist obvious differences in 2-D S-wave velocity structure and vp/vs ratio structure along the profile.The S-wave velocities are low and vp/vs ration is high for the westem section of the profile and Haiyuan region,while they are normal for the middle and eastern sections.The changes in lithologic characters of two major anomalous zones are discussed according to lateral variation of S-wave velocity structure and vp/vs ratio structure.It is concluded that the development and occurrence of the Haiyuan strong earthquake is not only related to tectonic activities,but also to lithologic characters of the region.     

New national seismic zoning map of China

1 Background of the new national seismic zoning map The policy of seismic disaster mitigation in the Chinese mainland is prevention first. According to the law, the earthquake design for ordinary structures must fit the demand of national seismic zoning map. Seismic zoning map is the basis of the earthquake design (TANG, 1998; WU, et al, 1998). The seismic zoning map must be updated with the progress in methodology and accumula-tion of the data. Lithospheric structure and continental geodynamics

This paper briefly reviews main progress in the research on lithospheric structure and continental geodynamics made by Chinese geophysicists during last 4 years since 22nd IUGG general assembly in July 1999. The research mainly covers the following fields: investigations on regional lithospheric structure, DSS survey of crust and upper mantle velocity structure, study on present-day inner movement and deformation of Chinese mainland by analyz-ing GPS observations, geodynamics of Qingzang plateau, geophysical survey of the Dabie-Sulu ultra-high pressure metamorphic belt and probing into its formation mechanism, geophysical observations in sedimentary basins and study on their evolution process, and plate dynamics, etc.
