从数据库的设计、功能模块的设计等方面介绍了基于GIS的河南省县域经济管理信息系统设计与实现流程.系统数据库以Access2003进行管理,在VB环境下开发前端应用平台,利用ADO动态数据连接引擎实现数据通信;利用MapObjects组件技术,采用嵌入式集成方式,实现县域经济信息查询统计、县域经济评价等专业应用与基本地理信息功能的有机集成.     

Geomoney: An option on frost, going long on clouds

The paper adopts a cultural economy approach to explore the emergence of a market in so-called weather derivatives, referred to in the paper as a form of ‘geomoney’. These are specially designed financial products that allow firms to protect their profits against the impact of changing weather conditions. The paper approaches the emergence of this market, and the issues its growth raises, in three interlinked stages. Weather derivatives are located amongst the hybrid collective that is contemporary finance and are analysed through the conceptual apparatus afforded by a cultural economy approach to finance. The paper employs this analytical line to examine the assumptions and models that enable the weather to be turned into a risk and then be transported and traded within capital markets. Through specific examples of weather products together with a discussion of the International Finance Corporation’s recent involvement in this market, the paper suggests something of the ‘world making’ capabilities of finance theory and the politics of finance often hidden beneath the mathematical models. The paper concludes by highlighting not only the usefulness of a cultural economy of finance to geographers but, in light of the examples discussed, the need for cultural economy to recognise and to engage critically in its analysis the politics that such a conceptual approach to the making of financial markets exposes.

建阳市县域经济发展探讨

县域经济是中国国民经济的基础,在中国社会主义现代化建设中影响重大。在实地调查的基础上,以福建省南平市下辖建阳市为例,对中国县域经济发展做出探讨。针对建阳市经济水平落后、发展速度滞后、产业结构不合理、空间发展不协调等问题,采用数据比较法、特尔菲法(Delphi)及空间分析法等,对建阳市县域经济的发展现状进行探究,认为其自然、人文环境中存在影响建阳县域经济发展的制约因素,并根据建阳市现有的区位、资源、劳动力等优势,提出促进其县域经济发展的三大对策,即大力加快农业产业化、工业化和城市化的“三化”建设,以期促进建阳市县域经济的可持续发展。     

Interprovincial Migration,Population Redistribution,and Regional Development in China: 1990 and 2000 Census Comparisons*

Until recently, migration has had a limited role to play in China's space economy because of central‐planning logic and mechanisms. Mobility increases and economic restructuring since the 1980s, however, call for new conceptualizations of migration. Using interprovincial migration data from China's 1990 and 2000 censuses, I analyze migration rates, migration effectiveness, population growth, net migration flows, and spatial focusing of migration. The analysis supports the notions that migration is an increasingly effective factor of population redistribution and that it has a strong relationship with regional development. While these relationships have been documented in many other parts of the world, they have been less well addressed in the case of China. Regional divergence in economic development during the 1990s was accompanied by a marked increase in interprovincial migration and sharply concentrated migration flows, especially from relatively poor central and western provinces to the rapidly growing eastern region. These results suggest that migration theories that draw from experiences of capitalist economies may be of increased relevance to China.
