The periodogram analysis of time intervals between successive earthquakes is used for testing the seismic gap hypothesis. Using the available data, it is shown that the existence of a periodic component can be rejected with high confidence. The test provides evidence against quasi-periodicity and regular clustering of the arrival times. 相似文献

2005年11月XMM-Newton望远镜对窄线赛弗特星系ESO 113-G010进行了长达100 ks的观测.采用Lomb-Scargle周期图(LSP)法和加权小波Z变换(Weighted Wavelet Z-transform,WWZ)两种方法对数据进行分析,发现存在着~2.24 11和~4.09 h准周期振荡(Quasi-Periodic Oscillation,QPO),其置信度分别为7.3σ和4.8σ.这两个QPO信号的周期具有大约1:2 (1:1.83)的关系.在该源的其他的观测中并没有发现QPO信号,表明这是一种暂现现象.ESO 113-G010中心黑洞的质量MBH和其QPO频率f_(QPO)满足已知的从恒星级黑洞到超大质量黑洞的质量与QPO频率之间的对数线性关系.该源的能谱分析显示在1 keV以下有软X射线超的现象. 相似文献

A modified version of the widely used Kolmogorov-Smirnov (K-S) test of null hypothesis is constructed, that a given time series
is Gaussian white noise, against the alternative hypothesis that the time series contains an added or multiplicative deterministic-periodic
component of unspecified frequency. The usual KS test is treated as a special case. The proposed test is more powerful than
the ordinary K-S test in detecting extreme (low or high) hidden periodicities. Computational procedure necessary for implementation

以频谱分析方法作为理论基础,采用周期图法计算汶川地震前后距震中500 km以内10口观测井水位(包括动水位与静水位)的功率谱,对比分析2009年无大震年份同时期的数据,研究结果表明:水位的频域特征受制于观测井的地质构造背景、观测方式和观测深度;水位的波动能量主要集中于大于4天与小于0.5天周期,震后水位波动能量则集中在大于8天的周期;动水位频谱更加丰富.另外,不同井水位的频域响应特征与该井观测层岩性有关,需进一步研究. 相似文献

The Indian summer monsoon rainfall (ISMR) plays an important role in the climate system of South Asia. Recently, studies about ISMR variations have been going into more depth. In this present paper, we mainly use the Scargle periodogram and wavelet transform methods to study the periodicity of ISMR changes between 1871 and 2004 and review the possible influence of solar activity on the rainfall. Analysis results show complicated ISMR variations have periodicities with remarkable time-variable characteristics. Investigating a possible connection between the rainfall and solar variations, we believe that solar activity affects the ISMR variations to some extent. 相似文献

本文分析了中国地壳运动观测网络GPS基准站及中国周边IGS连续站坐标中的周期性噪声,在北、东和垂向分量坐标时间序列中均发现了周期约351/n(n=1,…,6)天的正弦项,而地表质量负荷造成的位移序列中并没有对应的成分,不能解释异常周期项的来源。在估计台站的运动速率时,如考虑此类异常周期项,速率误差略微减小,而周年项振幅的估计误差显著增大,且残差离散度未见明显改善。因此,不推荐在GPS速率矢量反演中加入异常周期项参数。 相似文献
