中国东部新生代玄武岩及其地幔包体的氧逸度   总被引:1,自引:1,他引:1  
地幔环境的氧逸度与温度和压力一样,是控制许多地幔过程的一个重要参数。本文计算了中国东部几个具有代表性地区的玄武岩和尖晶石二辉橄榄岩的氧逸度,尖晶石二辉橄榄岩的氧逸度变化不大,均位于1og(fo2)=log(fo2FMQ)+0.0左右,而各地区玄武岩的氧逸度却变化很大,其平均值从尚志地区的log(fo2FMQ+0.6到长白山地区的log(fo2FMQ)+3.3左右(其中东北地区钾质玄武岩的氧逸度比除尚志以外其它地区的低),并且总体具有比地幔橄榄岩高得多的氧逸度。推测钾质玄武岩和尚志地区破性玄武岩的氧逸度比中国东部其它地区玄武岩的氧逸度低的可能原因是,前二个地区的玄武岩来源于更深部的(金云母)石榴石二辉橄榄岩,而其它地区的玄武岩来源于略浅部的尖晶石二辉橄榄岩。  相似文献

The Vinalhaven intrusive complex consists mainly of coarse-grainedgranite, inward-dipping gabbro–diorite sheets, and a fine-grainedgranite core. Small bodies of porphyry occur throughout thecoarse-grained granite. The largest porphyry body (roughly 0·5km by 2·5 km) occurs with coeval gabbro, hybrid rocks,and minor fine-grained granite in the Vinal Cove complex, whichformed during the waning stages of solidification of the coarse-grainedVinalhaven granite. Porphyry contacts with surrounding coarse-grainedgranite are irregular and gradational. Compositions of wholerocks and minerals in the porphyry and the coarse-grained graniteare nearly identical. Neighboring phenocrysts in the porphyryvary greatly in degree of corrosion and reaction, indicatingthat the porphyry was well stirred. Thermal rejuvenation ofa silicic crystal mush by a basaltic influx can explain thecomposition and texture of the porphyry. Comparable rejuvenationevents have been recognized in recent studies of erupted rocks.Weakly corroded biotite phenocrysts in the porphyry requirethat hydrous interstitial melt existed in the granite duringremelting. Field relations, along with thermal calculations,suggest that cooling and crystallization of coeval mafic magmacould have generated the porphyry by thermal rejuvenation ofgranite crystal-mush containing about 20% melt. Field relationsalso suggest that some of the porphyry matrix may representnew felsic magma that was emplaced during remelting. Although ultrahigh‐pressure (UHP) metamorphic rocks are present in many collisional orogenic belts, almost all exposed UHP metamorphic rocks are subducted upper or felsic lower continental crust with minor mafic boudins. Eclogites formed by subduction of mafic lower continental crust have not been identified yet. Here an eclogite occurrence that formed during subduction of the mafic lower continental crust in the Dabie orogen, east‐central China is reported. At least four generations of metamorphic mineral assemblages can be discerned: (i) hypersthene + plagioclase ± garnet; (ii) omphacite + garnet + rutile + quartz; (iii) symplectite stage of garnet + diopside + hypersthene + ilmenite + plagioclase; (iv) amphibole + plagioclase + magnetite, which correspond to four metamorphic stages: (a) an early granulite facies, (b) eclogite facies, (c) retrograde metamorphism of high‐pressure granulite facies and (d) retrograde metamorphism of amphibolite facies. Mineral inclusion assemblages and cathodoluminescence images show that zircon is characterized by distinctive domains of core and a thin overgrowth rim. The zircon core domains are classified into two types: the first is igneous with clear oscillatory zonation ± apatite and quartz inclusions; and the second is metamorphic containing a granulite facies mineral assemblage of garnet, hypersthene and plagioclase (andesine). The zircon rims contain garnet, omphacite and rutile inclusions, indicating a metamorphic overgrowth at eclogite facies. The almost identical ages of the two types of core domains (magmatic = 791 ± 9 Ma and granulite facies metamorphic zircon = 794 ± 10 Ma), and the Triassic age (212 ± 10 Ma) of eclogitic facies metamorphic overgrowth zircon rim are interpreted as indicating that the protolith of the eclogite is mafic granulite that originated from underplating of mantle‐derived magma onto the base of continental crust during the Neoproterozoic (c. 800 Ma) and then subducted during the Triassic, experiencing UHP eclogite facies metamorphism at mantle depths. The new finding has two‐fold significance: (i) voluminous mafic lower continental crust can increase the average density of subducted continental lithosphere, thus promoting its deep subduction; (ii) because of the current absence of mafic lower continental crust in the Dabie orogen, delamination or recycling of subducted mafic lower continental crust can be inferred as the geochemical cause for the mantle heterogeneity and the unusually evolved crustal composition.  相似文献

We have investigated the evolution of an active silicic magma-feedingsystem beneath Usu volcano, Japan, where eight eruptions havebeen recorded since AD 1663. All magmatic products contain similartypes of plagioclase and orthopyroxene phenocrysts that consistof homogeneous cores with uniform compositions, and a zonedmantle that increases in size with time. The compositions ofplagioclase and orthopyroxene phenocrysts vary gradually andregularly with time, as do the bulk-rock compositions. The textureof these phenocrysts also changes systematically, caused byprogressive crystal growth, dissolution and diffusion. On thebasis of these observations, we conclude that the same magma-feedingsystem has persisted at Usu volcano since AD 1663. Compositionalvariation of magnetite phenocrysts differs from that of plagioclaseand orthopyroxene, because magnetite has large diffusion coefficientsand should represent magmatic conditions immediately beforethe eruption. Most pumices from Usu volcano contain two typesof magnetite phenocryst, each with a different composition andcrystallization temperature, indicating that two magmas mixedbefore each eruption (approximately several days before). Theend-members changed with time: rhyolite + basaltic andesite(1663); dacite ± rhyolite (1769, 1822, 1853); dacite± dacite (1977, 2000). The temperature of the magma apparentlyincreases with time, and the increase can be explained by sequentialtapping from a magma chamber with a thermal and chemical gradientin addition to injection of high-temperature magma. 镁铁质-超镁铁质岩浆结晶分离早期形成镁铁矿物,镁铁矿物中的Ni和Mg是相容元素。随着结晶分离作用的进行,Ni、Mg在硅酸盐岩浆及后形成的硅酸盐物质中的丰度下降。橄榄石中Ni含量及硅酸盐物质MgO/FeO比值都与母岩浆的相关值相关,据此可推断母岩浆的信息,它们之间可由实验测得的系数相联系。当岩浆饱和硫化物时,在结晶分离过程中硫化物珠滴会与镁铁硅酸盐物质一道析出,同时,与硫化物非饱和岩浆相比,过多的Ni会随之析出。这也反映在Ni、Mg含量比无硫化物分离时有更迅速的降低上。Ni、Mg含量变化值可以在VoiseysBay侵入体的模式曲线上反映出,加拿大Labrador的这一侵入体赋存了一个世界级的Ni-Cu-Co硫化物矿床。过去的作法是将侵入体中橄榄石的Ni、Mg含量与Simkin和Smith得出的各种火成岩中橄榄石的Ni、Mg含量相比较以确定Ni亏损,进而假定橄榄石来自硫化物饱和、有经济价值的岩浆。现在的研究显示这种简单的对比会导致错误。将样品数据与模式曲线对比并反映出侵入体矿物结晶堆积特征是重要的方法。使用这一方法,样品数据能很好地被模式曲线拟合。以在VoiseysBay的研究为例,当硫化物液相与硅酸盐矿物被去除后,硫化物非饱和的分离作用期就会显现出来,随后是硅酸盐结晶作用期。  相似文献

Dredged samples from the Geophysicist seamount volcano in the northeastern part of the Kurile Basin include volcanic and volcanoclastic rocks ranging from basalt to andesite. The rocks have geochemical features typical of high-K island-arc calc-alkaline volcanism. They are enriched in LILE and depleted in Zr, Ti, Nb, Ta and Y. The chondrite-normalized REE patterns are characterized by enrichment of LREE similar to those of island-arc lava from the submarine volcanoes of rear-arc zone of the Kurile Island Arc. The volcanic rocks have a wide range of 87Sr/86Sr ratios (0.70287-0.70652), varying 143Nd/144Nd and Pb isotopic ratios. Their trace-element compositions and Sr-Nd-Pb isotope signatures may be explained by a small addition of crustal continental component to mantle-derived magmas that suggest the existence of thinned continental basement under the eastern part of the Kurile Basin.  相似文献

Mafic to intermediate enclaves are evenly distributed throughoutthe dacitic 1991–1995 lava sequence of Unzen volcano,Japan, representing hundreds of mafic recharge events over thelife of the volcano. This study documents the morphological,textural, chemical, and petrological characteristics of theenclaves and coexisting silicic host lavas. The eruptive productsdescribed in this study appear to be general products of magmamingling, as the same textural types are seen at many othervolcanoes. Two types of magmatic enclaves, referred to as Porphyriticand Equigranular, are easily distinguished texturally. Porphyriticenclaves display a wide range in composition from basalt toandesite, are glass-rich, spherical and porphyritic, and containlarge, resorbed, plagioclase phenocrysts in a matrix of acicularcrystals and glass. Equigranular enclaves are andesitic, non-porphyritic,and consist of tabular, medium-grained microphenocrysts in amatrix glass that is in equilibrium with the host dacite magma.Porphyritic enclaves are produced when intruding basaltic magmaengulfs melt and phenocrysts of resident silicic magma at theirmutual interface. Equigranular enclaves are a product of a moreprolonged mixing and gradual crystallization at a slower coolingrate within the interior of the mafic intrusion. 志留纪彭公庙岩体地处湘东南,岩石类型主要为黑云母花岗闪长岩、黑云母二长花岗岩、二云母二长花岗岩。各岩石单元从早至晚,w(S iO2)总体由低变高,变化在65.30%~73.42%之间;w(K2O)平均为4.34%,w(Na2O+K2O)为6.46%~8.32%,平均为7.09%;w(K2O)/w(Na2O)平均为1.58;岩石富铝,w(A l2O3)平均为14.13%。岩体总体属铁质、强过铝质高钾钙碱性花岗岩。Ba、Nb、Sr、P、Ti相对于原始地幔为负异常,Rb、(Th+U)、(La+Ce)、Nd、(Zr+H f+Sm)、(Y+Yb)等则相对富集。w(ΣREE)平均为221.85×10-6;轻稀土富集,w(La)N/w(Yb)N值平均为8.66;Eu弱亏损,δ(Eu)平均为0.53。ISr值为0.712 30~0.718 31,εSr(t)为110.7~196.1,εNd(t)为-8.0~-8.7,t2DM为1.81~1.87 Ga。上述地球化学特征表明彭公庙岩体为S型花岗岩。在C/MF-A/MF图解中,样品点部分落入基性岩区,部分落入变质碎屑岩区;在岩体氧化物比值的Harker图解中,各样点构成良好的线性关系;在w(La)/w(Sm)-w(La)图解中样品点分布散乱;酸性程度最高的晚期恩垄岩石单元的轻稀土相对富集更为明显;岩石中发育镁铁质岩浆包体等,表明彭公庙岩体具岩浆混合成因。地球化学构造环境判别图解、岩体侵位地质特征以及区域构造演化背景等表明彭公庙岩体形成于后造山构造环境。岩体各岩石单元侵位的先后次序可能与岩浆的粘度密切相关,基性程度相对较高的岩浆向上运移速度更快,因而侵位更早。  相似文献

鞍子山超单元由4个单元组成,各单元中的叶理极发育,闪长质包体强烈压扁,钾长石斑晶定向排列,以上三者均平行于剪切带分布。由早期到晚期具有叶理构造减弱,包体数量减少,压扁程度降低,斑晶定向逐渐消失的变化趋势。包体应变指数K值为0<K<1,属于压扁型椭球体。根据包体旋转指向和定向薄片资料分析,鞍子山超单元主要受北东向吴炉—郑家山—上腰岭左旋剪切带的控制,属于楔形侵入膨胀式就位机制的产物。  相似文献

五大连池第四纪火山事件为同源多期喷发。据矿物中岩浆包裹体温压地球化学研究,五大连池火山岩浆为一种含水2~4%(wt.%)的富钾玄武质岩浆,浅部结晶(压力<100MPa)。火山演化历史中,从中更新世早期至近代(1719~1721年)喷发,岩浆的MgO、CaO,FeO含量、CO_2浓度,首晶相橄榄石的结晶温度和压力不断增高;SiO_2、TiO_2、K_2O含量、氧逸度和H_2O、CH_4、H_2S的浓度趋于下降,Cl、P、F的浓度也呈现有规律变化。这些特点是岩浆房内岩浆分层作用的反映,火山岩浆的喷发序次与岩浆房内的分层次序相反。火山岩浆的低S含量(<600ppm)及Sr、O、Nd、Pb等同位素研究数据表明,它们源自上地慢,且基本未受地壳物质混染。  相似文献
