为探究季节性冰封浅湖热力学特征,于2010年10月至2013年7月对高原腹地一典型热融湖塘冰层生消、水/冰温及气象条件开展原位观测,分析了水温分布时间变化、温跃层以及冰生消对水温结构的影响。结果发现:冰面升华显著,贯穿整个冰期;水温日变化、季节变化和垂直结构受气温、大气辐射、风速、冰生消和湖底沉积层热贡献影响显著;在"无冰期-结冰前-冰生长期-冰融化期-融化后-无冰期"年循环过程中水温垂直结构分别呈现出"分层-翻转-逆温分层-逆温与正温共存-翻转-分层"的循环过程。分层期水温结构仅由上部混合层和温跃层构成,且偶因强风搅动而全湖翻转混合。可见,相比大中型湖泊,季节性冰封浅湖热力学结构差异显著。 相似文献

Greigite has been identified in the sediments of Loch Lomond using X-ray diffraction. Greigite is the dominant magnetic mineral in the oldest sediments recovered, while magnetite predominates in the younger sediments which had previously been used for palaeomagnetic secular variation studies. A layer of sediment in between these two magnetic mineral regimes has very low magnetic concentrations, probably as a consequence of magnetite dissolution associated with sulphide rich pore-waters produced at the time of a marine incursion. The greigite largely oxidises once the sediment is exposed to air, but if freeze dried the greigite becomes surprisingly stable. Following freeze drying the greigite can be heated to 280°C in air before it alters and loses its strong ferrimagnetic properties. 相似文献

Thick ice-bearing permafrost is not observed today beneath the deeper channels of the central Queen Elizabeth Islands, Canadian Arctic Archipelago. Analysis of a precision temperature log recently obtained at an offshore well near Ellef Ringnes Island indicates that the thermal regime beneath the seabed is in equilibrium with today's marine environment. If thick permafrost similar to that observed on land today had existed in the Pleistocene in areas that are presently offshore, then such permafrost must have started melting no later than 25000 years ago in order to allow the present thermal regime to evolve. In semi-arid orographic left tributaries of the Kali Gandaki at the northern and western flank of the Nilgiri Himal, glacio-geomorphological
and pedological investigations were carried out on prehistoric moraines. Geomorphological relief analysis was derived from
other literature and the own fieldwork of the author. The resulting glacial chronology was used as benchmark to explore the
limits of different pedological dating methods regarding the degree of soil development. These methods are based on iron fractionation,
total element contents and particle size distribution. In general the different glacial stages are mirrored correctly in the
relative graduation of soil development. The ratio of well crystallised pedogenic iron-oxides to the total iron content and
the ratio fine clay to total clay are most suitable, because they are almost independent from existing changes in the lithological
composition. The total element based weathering indices are less suitable, because they react highly sensitive to the geology
dependent shift to higher carbonate contents. Most of the grain size based weathering indices are inapplicable because of

On July 2, 2004, a 2000-km southwest air current following the Mindulle Typhoon caused serious damages to infrastructures
in Taiwan. The disaster resulted in extensive geological and structural failures, mainly as a result of debris flow. Some
of the sites were subjected to types of repeated failures compared to previous typhoons. Some structural failures were attributed
to geotechnical failures. It is decided to document and identify causes for some of these major failures triggered by typhoons.
The case history showed significant implications to future disaster prevention and management works. New challenges were posed
