基于家庭的购物行为决策的概念模型,利用2007年北京市活动日志调查的第一手数据,建立购物出发时间决策和购物目的地决策的条件Logit模型,并探讨其在相关政策评估和预测上的应用。结果发现:家庭内部相互作用和决策层面要素对购物时、空间决策的影响比较显著;早晚高峰出行的人群具有不同的社会经济属性和购物行为属性;居民休息日的购物活动集中在离家6km以内或者高密度的商业中心;影响购物目的地选择的因素更多是购物地距离,而非商业密度。通过模拟发现,土地混合利用的政策可能会增加高峰期的交通拥挤程度,而商业设施分散布局可能更有利于城市交通状况的改善和居民日常生活质量的提升。  相似文献

As Chinese cities rapidly transformed themselves into consumerist societies, the relationship between consumers and consumption space under stratification has become a new research area in the field of urban social geography. Based on a consumer behavior analysis, this study explores the relationship between consumption space and the social strata of consumers in typical shopping malls in Guangzhou where the first shopping mall in China was built. The result shows that shopping malls have performed significant constructive functions of organizing consumers from different social classes into different consumption space. For middle- and upper-class consumers, the function of shopping malls centers on utilitarian consumption, identity recognition, and identity construction; whereas for lower-class consumers, its function revolves around pleasure and enjoyment. The symbolism of consumption space is the underlying reason for shopping malls to have their social constructive function. The findings of this research suggest that: 1) a shopping mall is a productive consumption space and a geographical space with subjectivity; 2) the micro-location of a shopping mall has social construction function; and 3) symbolic consumption is the core of social construction.  相似文献

This paper examines the issue of modeling dynamic aspects of shopping trip-making behavior using time series data and presents the results of an empirical analysis based on a two-week travel diary survey of households in Hamilton, Ontario. It is concluded that logit models incorporating time dependent variables perform significantly better in terms of both calibrated goodness-of-fit and predictive capabilities than do models which assume no time dependency between choices.  相似文献

在居民购物出行影响下的城市地域结构,主要以方便居民对不同商品按市场、交通原则的出行流量为形成基础.而商户在经营过程中,又要考虑城市地域结构对经济利益差异的影响.城市地域经济发展的过程,就是购销双方在地域上动态拟合的过程.从居民购物出行的流量入手,结合中心地理论,对安阳市城市地域结构的等级进行了实证研究.分析表明,随着中小城市地域结构的非均衡发展,居民购物出行的线路流量和地域流量都随之发生变化,并带动城市地域结构的动态变化.  相似文献

Abstract

Interim semester field trips provide a unique opportunity for undergraduate students to collect field data in support of their capstone research experience. We encourage students to participate in collaborative research projects prior to the semester for which they enroll in the capstone course. Students select a research project based on a field trip itinerary, submit a research proposal to faculty, conduct preliminary research prior to departure and collect data in the field during a January “Winterim” course. During the spring semester, students continue laboratory research, incorporating data collected in the field to complete their research project and prepare scientific presentations. Field trips provide an inherent mentoring system whereby faculty interact with students, and underclass students collaborate on capstone research projects. This approach facilitates learning by emphasizing preparation and planning, collaborative learning and integration of classroom knowledge into field research.  相似文献

A much anticipated explosion in regional shopping center retailing in Britain has failed to emerge. This paper suggests that the threat to existing property investments was a key reason why funds for development were slow to materialize. By the time the movement gathered pace, the British government became worried by the scale of proposals. Since the consumer boom that followed the expansionary budget of 1988 was short lived, it follows that many potential investors were relieved that they did not become involved with schemes that might have had little economic viability. Therefore, the rather restricted geography of retailing in Britain has been left largely unchanged.  相似文献

This paper reviews current methods used in classifying retail outlets and areas devoted to retailing, in the geographical and town planning literature. For retail outlets, classifications based upon types of goods sold, and types of shopping trip, are discussed. This is followed by an analysis of modern large store development which reflects property developers' and retailers' concerns. Areas devoted to retail uses are subdivided into unplanned ‘retail areas’ and planned ‘shopping centres’. Traditional classifications based upon central place theory are reviewed for both of these types, and found wanting in the light of recent changes in retail development practice and consumer behaviour. Classifications based upon physical development characteristics and type of shopping trip are recommended. Finally, classifications of urban retail location are examined. 文章对内地主要城市与香港间的客源潜力进行了研究,包括居民的赴港愿望、交通方式选择,以及上述决策与收入、职业、费用、旅行时间、安全舒适性等因子的关系。分析得出:内地居民的赴港愿望和交通方式选择具有明显特征,以上海、北京为源地或中转地的居民,作为未来访港的客源,具有较大潜力,并在交通方式选择上有较强倾向性,偏好直达列车、直达飞机等便捷、快速的交通方式,且被访者的职业、收入水平等对其旅行方式选择有重要影响;对北京、上海近期与远期赴港客源潜力作了测算。  相似文献

香港旅游购物市场运行机制完善,为中国内地开拓购物旅游市场提供了示范.通过分析内地游客在香港购物旅游案例,认为游客购物行为心理活动规律表现为:兴奋-疑惑-后悔-认可-满足.这种行为心理特征产生的原因与内地商品市场不完善、旅游业运行机制不健全,以及内地经济水平、游客的消费心理密切相关.内地购物旅游市场的培育需要从运行机制、利益分配、旅游商品生产与独家代理、旅游购物市场质量保证措施的可操作性等多方面借鉴香港旅游业发展的经验.  相似文献

The chauffeuring of children to/from school and childcare providers has received limited attention in previous research, although it structures parents' everyday activities in important ways. Combining analytical and cultural perspectives on juggling employment and caregiving, I explore the impact of such factors as household structure, employment and commute characteristics, residential location, and culturally defined norms about parenthood on chauffeuring arrangements for dual‐earner households in Utrecht, the Netherlands. Fathers conduct a considerable share of chauffeuring trips, but arrangements are often informed by traditional gender norms. The spatial variability in the gendering of chauffeuring is limited.  相似文献
