无界性的历史生态——也谈文艺学的边界危机

文艺学作为一个学科，从理论初建之始，就存在对象不一、范围不定的问题。文艺学研究的是人的一切，西方的诗学传统和中国的“诗之为学”理论发展都证明了这一点。这种历史生态说明．无界性是文艺学本身的一个特性。当前中国文艺界需要的是反省而不是纷争。     

Karyological and Ecological Evolution of the Monocelididae (Platyhelminthes, Proseriata)

Abstract. The karyology and ecology of 76 species of Monocelididae arc discussed. Species with a basic karyotype are mainly limited to low dynamic subtidal areas: this is considered to be the ancestral habitat of the group. From there, parallel evolution resulted in colonization of more stressed environments. In all lineages, the colonization of new environments is correlated with karyotype rearrangements such as translocations and Robertsonian mechanisms of fusion and fission.     

基于GIS的陕北景观结构

以陕西土地利用现状图作为数据基础,应用Arc/Info和Arc/view等GIS专业软件,对陕北地区的景观进行了分类,并形成了景观分类图。利用景观格局分析软件FRAGSTATS,在斑块类型和景观两个水平上计算了相应的参数和景观指数,定量揭示了整个区域的景观格局与类型特征。为进行深入研究和揭示生态过渡地带生态过程奠定了基础。     

USE OF VALUE FUNCTIONS AS A POSSIBLE SUITABILITY SCALING PROCEDURE IN AUTOMATED COMPOSITE MAPPING

The application of composite suitability mapping integrated with a geographic information system is progressing at a much faster rate than the methodological improvements necessary for optimal use in the public planning context. The use of value functions is suggested as an alternative scaling procedure that is scientifically and operationally preferable to existing procedures. Value functions limit the operational subjectivity and enhance the potential for replication and verification of the analysis. Value functions are conducive to increased automation of the land planning and decision process while being comprehensible to non-expert decision-makers and the public.     

RETHINKING CULTURAL ADAPTATION*

Several issues surrounding the concept of cultural adaptation and its significance to cultural geography are discussed. A new model of cultural adaptation is developed to explain the evolution of spatial structures. Also a research agenda for geographic inquiry is proposed.

利用梯阶中值选址模型进行区域机场群布局适应性研究

研究了中值选址模型和梯阶选址问题,提出了利用梯阶中值选址模型的区域机场群选址布局模型,并对广东省机场群布局的适应性进行了实证研究。在模型实验中,应用地理信息技术对模型进行了计算,结果说明了该模型及模型计算方法对区域机场群选址规划的应用价值。     

An event-based methodology for climate change and human–environment research

Abductive causal eventism (ACE) is an analytical methodology based on a pragmatic view of research methods and explanation that places at the center of research inquiry the answering of ‘why’ questions about events, including human actions or environmental changes of interest. When used in human–environment research, the methodology entails constructing causal histories of interrelated social and/or biophysical events backward in time through a process of eliminative inference and reasoning from effects to causes, called abduction. ACE encourages an eclectic use of methods, models, and theoretical ideas. It fosters integrative, interdisciplinary analysis without being committed either to systems as ontological entities or to holistic analytical frameworks. By not privileging particular theories or explanatory factors in advance, ACE enables researchers to interrogate the plausibility of different causal influences, including local environmental changes that may be related to much wider changes in climate. Likewise, behaviors or practices that may be of value in light of anticipated environmental changes can be studied without their presuming to be caused by these changes or by changes in climate per se. Research on coastal mangrove planting for storm protection in the Philippines and upland tree planting in St. Lucia are used to illustrate these arguments.     

A Landscape Guide in Environmental Education

Abstract

The interpretation of landscapes is an important way to learn about geography in environmental education. A Landscape Guide to the Bachelor Reserve applies geographic/historical and biological/ecological perspectives to the interpretation of ten landscape scenes along a three-mile walking tour. For each scene, the guide describes the environmental setting, the composition and structure of the vegetation, and the history of human influences. Questionnaire and field assessments document a well-received interpretive tool, and the need to guide participants across land transitions and interpret land use history clearly. Landscape guides can be used in school/community land labs and contribute to holistic learning and multidisci-plinary exercises in formal and informal environmental education programs.
