Relationship of geological and geothermal field properties: Midcontinent area, USA, an example

Quantitative approaches to data analysis in the last decade have become important in basin modeling and mineral-resource estimation. The interrelation of geological, geophysical, geochemical, and geohydrological variables is important in adjusting a model to a real-world situation. Revealing the interdependences of variables can contribute in understanding the processes interacting in sedimentary basins. It is reasonably simple to compare spatial data of the same type but more difficult if different properties are involved. Statistical techniques, such as cluster analysis or principal components analysis, or some algebraic approaches can be used to ascertain the relations of standardized spatial data. In this example, structural configuration on five different stratigraphic horizons, one total sediment thickness map, and four maps of geothermal data were copared. As expected, the structural maps are highly related because all had undergone about the same deformation with differing degrees of intensity. The temperature gradients derived (1) from shallow borehole logging measurements under equilibrium conditions with the surrounding rock, and (2) from non-equilibrium bottom-hole temperatures (BHT) from deeper depths are mainly independent of each other. This was expected and confirmed also for the two temperature maps at 1000 ft which were constructed using both types of gradient values. Thus, it is evident that the use of a 2-point (BHT and surface temperature) straightline calculation of a mean temperature gradient gives different information about the geothermal regime than using gradients from temperatures logged under equilibrium conditions. Nevertheless, it is useful to determine to what a degree the larger dataset of nonequilibrium temperatures could reflect quantitative relationships to geologic conditions. Comparing all maps of geothermal information vs. the structural and the sediment thickness maps, it was determined that all correlations are moderately negative or slightly positive. These results are clearly shown by the cluster analysis and the principal components. Considering a close relationship between temperature and thermal conductivity of the sediments as observed for most of the Midcontinent area and relatively homogeneous heat-flow density conditions for the study area these results support the following assumptions: (1) undifferentiated geothermal gradients, computed from temperatures of different depth intervals and differing sediment properties, cannot contribute to an improved understanding of the temperature structure and its controls within the sedimentary cover, and (2) the quantitative approach of revealing such relations needs refined datasets of temperature information valid for the different depth levels or stratigraphic units.

花岗岩分类命名问题讨论：读《岩石分类命名》后的想法

花岗岩的分类应尽量做到实际矿物分类与化学分类的统一，由岩石化学成分计算的矿物成分与含量与实际矿物成分和含量具可比性，可做为分类的佐证。斜长石也应是分类的依据，笔者提出了新的补充性的花岗岩分类方案，供大家研究讨论。

在某些文献中,有原则性问题的渗流数学模型不乏其见。本文什对问题发生的原因,论述了关于正确建立渗流数学模型的若干要点,给出了体现要点的若干实例分析。     

公平实现《巴黎协定》目标的碳减排贡献分担研究综述

各国目前的国家自主贡献与实现《巴黎协定》温控目标的要求仍有较大的差距,各国进一步强化其自主贡献力度亟需公平的碳减排贡献分担作为目标参考。本文系统梳理了碳减排分配涉及的公平原则及其4个主要维度,即排放责任、经济能力、人均主义和国家主义,评述了依据不同维度或维度组合制定的分配方案的研究进展和存在的问题,并将该领域错综复杂的分歧矛盾分为3个层次,即公平原则维度的选择、分配机制的设计以及具体参数设置。研究发现,目前旨在指导各国提高自主贡献力度的公平分配研究在全面性、一致性和客观性方面仍有缺陷,特别是基于多元文献分析以及综合分配模型的综合分配研究不能全面客观地反映发展中国家对公平的关切。为此,本文针对性地提出了未来碳减排贡献分担综合研究的需求和方向,即需要系统阐述发展中国家视角的公平分配方案并构建一个全面、平衡、客观的综合碳减排贡献分担模型,以提升中国在这一问题上的话语权,在公平实现《巴黎协定》目标的进程中更好地发挥贡献者和引领者的作用。     

郑州CINRAD风暴追踪产品误差统计分析

利用2009—2016年5—9月郑州新一代天气雷达资料,对5615个单体回波按不同预报时效、不同生命史和不同类型强对流的风暴追踪信息产品进行统计,较系统地分析了单体回波的距离误差和方向误差,探讨了实况与预报的偏差方向。结果表明:30和60 min距离误差分别为9. 3和16. 9 km,方向误差变化不大,随着预报时效的延长,距离误差增大;生命史≤1h、1～2 h和超过2 h的30 min预报平均距离误差分别为9. 8、8. 8和7.7 km,方向误差分别为25. 2°、25. 7°和22.8°;生命史在1～2 h和超过2 h的60 min预报平均距离误差分别为17. 3和15. 9 km,方向误差为24. 4°和22. 7°,随着单体生命史的延长,方向和距离误差呈减小趋势;西北气流型、西南气流型两种类型单体回波和整体误差一致,两种类型回波单体30和60 min方向和距离误差基本相当;不同类型、不同预报时效统计均为实况偏于预报路径右侧的次数多于偏左的次数,30和60 min偏右比例分别为57. 5%和55.6%。     

A STUDY OF NEAR SURFACE WIND PROFILES IN THE HEBEI COASTAL AREA BASED ON OBSERVATIONAL EXPERIMENTS

In order to provide wind profiles for the microscale numerical simulation of wind farm with complex terrain,using the 100 m tower atmospheric turbulence observation experiment data in 2010 in Hebei Province offered by National Climate Center, the variation characteristics of wind profile under the different atmospheric stability conditions are analyzed, and the wind profile expression based on the local similarity theory is established. The results show that:(1) In spring, the occurrence probability of unstable stratification in the Hebei coastal area is as high as 28%, and the probability of stable stratification is more than 43% while, in summer, the probability of occurrence of unstable stratification is as high as 80% with a lower probability for stable stratification; and(2) for stable stratification, the characteristics of atmosphere change is dramatic in terms of the vertical direction, which need to be treated layer by layer.According to the atmospheric turbulence observation experiment data above, under stable stratification, the relationship between the dimensionless velocity gradient and the stability ζ can be expressed as 1 +βmζ, with βm changing with the height: βm takes 4.1-4.3 under 30 m, βm takes 4.6-4.7 between 30-50 m, and βm takes 6.3-6.7 over 50 m.     

基于微雨雷达的降水参数反演和粒子相态识别

本文基于微雨雷达原始的后向散射信号,采用一种新的功率谱处理算法（RaProM算法）,在功率谱计算、噪声去除、退模糊等处理的基础上计算了雷达基本参量,并反演了液态降水参数,例如雷达反射率因子、雨强等,并对粒子相态进行识别。RaProM算法综合考虑粒子下落速度、等效雷达反射率因子、不同相态粒子的尺度特征以及是零度层亮带位置等信息,可识别的粒子相态包括雪、毛毛雨、雨、冰雹以及混合相态。选取了三个山东地区较为典型的个例对RaProM反演算法进行验证,即2021年7月2日典型层状云降水个例、2019年12月25日雨雪转换个例以及2018年3月4日零度层高度逐渐降低的降水个例。结果显示：粒子识别方法应用于典型层状云降水,垂直方向上不同相态粒子的分层较为明显,过冷层里的固态降水雪花、零度层附近冰水转换区的混合相态降水以及零度层以下的液态降水符合现有认识,验证了反演算法以及粒子识别算法的有效性。将结果进一步在雨雪转换降水相态识别中和零度层高度的检测,该反演算法均能得到较好应用,与同址同步观测的微波辐射计、云雷达、二维视频雨滴谱仪等观测结论一致。另外,与微雨雷达标准反演算法对比,RaProM算法的优势是...
