环南澳大利亚太平洋-印度洋海洋间南极中层水环流

On the basis of the salinity distribution of isopycnal(σ_0=27.2 kg/m~3) surface and in salinity minimum, the Antarctic Intermediate Water(AAIW) around South Australia can be classified into five types corresponding to five regions by using in situ CTD observations. Type 1 is the Tasman AAIW, which has consistent hydrographic properties in the South Coral Sea and the North Tasman Sea. Type 2 is the Southern Ocean(SO) AAIW, parallel to and extending from the Subantarctic Front with the freshest and coldest AAIW in the study area. Type 3 is a transition between Type 1 and Type 2. The AAIW transforms from fresh to saline with the latitude declining(equatorward). Type 4, the South Australia AAIW, has relatively uniform AAIW properties due to the semienclosed South Australia Basin. Type 5, the Southeast Indian AAIW, progressively becomes more saline through mixing with the subtropical Indian intermediate water from south to north. In addition to the above hydrographic analysis of AAIW, the newest trajectories of Argo(Array for real-time Geostrophic Oceanography) floats were used to constructed the intermediate(1 000 m water depth) current field, which show the major interocean circulation of AAIW in the study area. Finally, a refined schematic of intermediate circulation shows that several currents get together to complete the connection between the Pacific Ocean and the Indian Ocean. They include the South Equatorial Current and the East Australia Current in the Southwest Pacific Ocean, the Tasman Leakage and the Flinders Current in the South Australia Basin, and the extension of Flinders Current in the southeast Indian Ocean.

基于迭代融合的InSAR技术获取数字高程模型研究

数字高程模型是重要的地理空间数据,可以提供丰富的地形信息.为了获得时效性好、分辨率高的数字高程模型,本文以南京市为实验区域,利用德国宇航局TerraSAR-X卫星同一轨道上的两幅StripMap模式SAR影像对,主从影像时间间隔只有66天,空间分辨率为3 m.采用InSAR技术,通过迭代的方法来提高获取DEM的分辨率,并结合JAXA/EORC提供的AW3D30数字表面模型与迭代后的DEM进行融合来解决阴影等问题,最终获取了南京地区的高精度数字高程模型.将实验结果分别与90 m分辨率的SRTM、30 m分辨率的ASTER GDEM、30 m分辨率的AW3D30进行相互对比分析.结果表明,相比三种常用的DEM而言,本文获取的DEM能够更精确的获取地面的细节信息,特别是对于分布稀疏的大型单体建筑物,能够很好的恢复其三维信息,但是对于建筑物分布较为密集的区域,由于传感器视线受阻,不能观测建筑物的全貌,阴影分布较多,导致此类区域的DEM结果不理想,还需进一步深入研究,提高精度及可靠性.     

Contemporary Refugee‐Border Dynamics and the Legacies of the 1919 Paris Peace Conference

While the geopolitical legacies of the World War I peace negotiations are widely recognized, this article examines the often overlooked connection between the WWI Paris Peace Conference's spatial and geopolitical logics and contemporary refugee‐border dynamics. We argue that the spatial and geopolitical logics that framed the WWI Paris Peace Conference—the creation of new states, the propagation of the Western ideal of bounded sovereign states, the nationalist goals of self‐determination and homogeneous ethnic nations, and the establishment of a system of international governance—continue to impact refugee‐border dynamics and “crises” today. The categories, ideals, and practices of the international refugee regime that emerged over the last one‐hundred years stem in great part from these logics. In this paper, we urge critical contemplation about how these foundations—including the establishment of the post of High Commissioner for Refugees in 1921, the resultant Nansen Passports, the post‐WWI minority treaties, and lastly the 1933 Convention Relating to the International Status of Refugees—connect to contemporary human (im)mobility and border violence. We also introduce the articles in this special issue and highlight key themes and future directions for research in critical migration studies.     

基于世博会的城市旅游空间结构重构与优化

世博会已经成为展示人类在社会、经济、文化和科技领域取得成就的国际盛会,受到全世界的关注和参与。随着世博会规模、性质的不断演化,世博会对城市的影响日渐扩大。基于历届世博会的城市旅游目的地分析,研究与揭示世博会引致旅游新增长极形成、旅游空间结构重构的内在规律与机理,结合2010年世博会的举办,探究上海城市旅游空间结构重构与优化。     

世纪之交世界可持续发展型式研究

探讨了世纪之交世界社会经济发展与生态环境之间存在的矛盾, 提出了根据各国经济发展水平、国土面积、人口和对资源环境的开发利用与保护的差别, 把世界分为富国资源高消费型、新兴工业国资源大量需求型、穷国生态破坏型、石油输出国环境脆弱型, 以及各类国家的可持续发展型式。还提出要实现全球可持续发展战略, 必须采取的共同对策     

世博经济圈形成基础和机制研究

会展旅游全球性的迅速发展归因于相关的预期经济利益,以及带给旅游目的地的社会、文化、技术等无形利益.2010年上海世博会的举办将对长江三角洲乃至中国产生深远的影响.首先分析了世博经济特征和效应.其次,探讨了世博经济圈的形成基础,认为世博经济圈可以被描述为一个多层面(区域、城市和公司)相互联系的城市网络,世博经济圈的形成必须拥有良好的空间结构和组织结构;最后对世博经济圈的形成机制进行了初步研究,提出区域合作机制的创新和完善是世博经济圈形成的重要动力,经由制度创新、文化协调、区域管治,推动要素的优化配置和利益主体的融合实现区域共生;通过核心城市的进一步中心化和节点城市的专业化实现更加分散和互补的发展.     

世界能源产消与流动分析

随着全球化的到来,各国都面临着更合理地分配和使用地球上的能源的机遇和挑战。能源的大规模空间流动已经成为不可避免的趋势。对近几十年能源产消与空间流动状态进行分析表明：第一,世界能源生产和消费一直保持大致平衡状态,但空间格局存在很大差异;第二,能源流动主要体现在石油流动;第三,能源空间收敛系数、能源消费结构演进和城市化发展都是能源产消差异和空间流动的重要影响因素．     

Geographers in the U.S. Government in Washington,DC, during World War II

Geographers in Washington, DC, during World War II and the agencies in which they worked are recalled through the naming of geographers engaged in wartime work during this seminal period in the development of the geography profession in the United States. The five agencies then employing the largest number of geographers were the Research and Analysis Branch of the Office of Strategic Services, the Topographic Branch of the Military Intelligence Division of the War Department, the Board of Economic Warfare (later the Foreign Economic Administration), the Board on Geographic Names, and the Office of the Geographer, Department of State. The impacts of this period on individual geographers, the professional organization of geographers, cartography, higher education, and the government are suggested.
