农村民房的地震破坏特征与震害预测 总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4
本文基于对中国西部和华北地区20世纪发生的21次历史地震的震害考察和10余次地震的现场震害调查资料的分析研究,总结归纳了农村木架房屋、墙体承重房屋、混合承重房屋、土坯拱窑、黄土崖窑、砖平房、多层砖混房在地震烈度为Ⅵ度、Ⅶ度、Ⅷ度、Ⅸ度、Ⅹ度时的震害表现,介绍了建筑物震害程度等级的划分与标准、破坏性地震在Ⅵ度-Ⅺ度区内各种结构类型农村民房破坏的烈度标志,给出了各种结构类型农村民房在地震烈度Ⅵ度-Ⅺ度情况下的震害预测结果,探讨了在造价增加不多的情况下,提高农村民房抗震能力的可行性。 相似文献

In France the distinction between the secular and religious domains is the result of a slow evolutionary process of secularization
over a period of two centuries. A key element was the law of separation between churches and State in 1905. Secularization
also produced a pluralistic socio-cultural system, which permits an increase in religious supply, issued from outside or inside
existent churches. The religious landscape became complex due to the growth of certain groups. Nowadays, efforts to regulate
Muslim communities are leading towards a new tendency of state control of religious activities in two fields, namely places
of worship and school activities. Religious plurality is recognized by the State in the name of the freedom of beliefs. Private
organizations are used for the public practice of religion and easily obtain places of worship. However, this has necessitated
a large number of regional or local arrangements. In the name of the freedom of thought, the school system of the Republic
is ensured by public schools, or by Catholic or Jewish schools, subject to strict public control. In this matter, there is
only minimal tolerance of other denominations.

Abstract This article presents a family program that extends the materials and meeting times of the Michigan Model Family Geography Challenge, including suggestions on creating a successful family night program. The article focuses on developing positive school-community relationships by inviting local community members to participate in fun academic lessons. In addition to watching the news together nightly, families meet four times during an eight-week period to engage in hands-on geography related activities. One lesson is introduced during each session and families work together to complete assigned tasks. Following the activity, families join together to eat and socialize. In Norway, on-site biological surveys precede the designation of nature reserves. Although many nature conservation areas have been affected by past human use (e.g. cattle grazing, timber harvesting), a typical biological survey may fail to portray the extent of human influence on biodiversity and vegetation dynamics. In 1984, Hystad forest (western Norway) was made a nature reserve after botanists interpreted the ecosystem 'close to untouched'. It was thought best to leave the forest alone, so no management plan was developed. It was later realized that the vegetation was changing, but the reason was not obvious. I gathered and analyzed further biological data plus information on land-use history from varied sources (e.g. cadastral maps, archive material and oral histories). The area has undergone a series of transformations since the 17th century. The present forest is no more than 100 years old, and extensive parts are much younger. The initial survey underestimated the extent of cultural impact and failed to predict vegetation change subsequent to reserve establishment, whereas a historical-geographical approach reveals that the vegetation is in a state of transition, driven primarily by a change from active farming to farm abandonment. Planning for conservation must recognize past as well as present human use of the landscape to anticipate consequent land cover responses. 相似文献

There is a large rural population in China. Throughout the country, sewage from rural households is mostly discharged with minimal treatment. Knowledge of rural population distribution is essential to study the rural households’ impacts on their surrounding environment. However, high-resolution spatial datasets on rural population distribution are rarely available in China. This study explores the feasibility of using the image from Google Earth to derive a high-resolution map on rural population distribution for a town in the Lake Tai basin of eastern China. Study results show that texture analysis in conjunction with other processing procedures can extract man-made building features from the image reasonably, which can then serve as the basis for the preliminary mapping of rural population distribution in the study region. This may prove to be a promising alternative for deriving spatial datasets on rural population distribution in many parts of the world. 相似文献

The ‘era of interdisciplinarity’ heralds collaborative inquiry as effective for addressing complex issues at the nexus of disciplinary interests. Geographers have long argued that they are particularly well-suited to contribute to interdisciplinary endeavors because of the breadth and depth that the discipline enfolds. However, within the literature about geography and interdisciplinarity, we find only two rather limiting conversations. The first conversation is concerned with the role(s) and position of geography within academia and focuses on what geographers can do to distinguish themselves while also improving their interactions with scholars from other disciplines. The second conversation largely revolves around how best to conduct interdisciplinarity ‘in the lab and classroom’ and focuses on practical issues associated with making collaborative research operate smoothly for multiple, disciplinary participants. We propose opening up intellectual space for a third conversation about the benefits, challenges and contributions of individual disciplines in interdisciplinary environments. Using survey data, we analyze how geography was perceived by collaborators from various disciplines in an interdisciplinary Urban Ecology program at the University of Washington. We offer this pilot study as a heuristic for others wishing to perform similar small-scale reflexive exercises and advance this “third conversation”. 相似文献
