Fractures have been recently identified in potential host rock for high level nuclear waste disposal, like indurated argilite formations. These fractures appear as potential rapid pathways for radionuclides transport and hydrodynamic properties of the transport inside these systems must thus be characterized. Miscible non-sorbing and sorbing tracers displacements were performed on a 2-D model derived from a real fracture geometry observed in the Tournemire argilite formation with a lattice-gas cellular automaton (LGA). LGA was shown to easily handle the complex geometry of such a fracture. The numerical breakthrough curves obtained were inverted with the 1-D CDE and MIM transport models. Two main conclusions were drawn: (i) at the length scale of the study, the non-sorbing tracer transport in our fracture geometry was more accurately interpreted in terms of the MIM model rather than in terms of the classical CDE model; (ii) in order to correctly model the sorbing tracers migration, the hydrodynamic dispersion coefficient value was found to increase with the increase of the retardation factor. A semi-empirical relation based on the Taylor–Aris theory was then used to describe this dependency.  相似文献

This study details the observed effects ofatmospheric stability on characteristics of thesurface layer in a low wind speed (U = 1.5 m s-1)regime of tropical West Africa. Theaerodynamic roughness length, z0, anddisplacement height, d, obtained from profilewind-speed data at our bush land site (height 2 m)have values of 0.24 ± 0.10 m and 1.54 ± 0.04 mrespectively. In the unstable range (-2.5 < Ri < -0.1; Riis gradient Richardson number), thestandard deviation in wind speed fluctuations, u, increased from 0.57 ± 0.19 m s-1 toa maximum of 0.7 ± 0.2 m s-1 in near-neutralconditions, and in the stable range, the parameterdecreased rapidly to 0.41 ± 0.15 m s-1 at Ri 0.2.In the same stability range, the horizontal winddispersion, , decreased withincreasing stability from 19 ± 8 deg. to 13 ± 5 deg.The surface-layer integral quantity, u/u*, when plottedas a function of stability, is in agreement with theempirical results. The ratio ofsensible heat flux (estimated) to the net radiationranged between 0.1 and 0.2 at nighttime,increasing to about 0.5 during the daytime, and showeda strong dependency on season.  相似文献

盘锦芦苇湿地空气动力学参数动态特征及其影响因素分析   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
应用盘锦芦苇生态系统观测场的涡度相关通量观测系统和小气候梯度系统的观测资料,估算了芦苇下垫面的空气动力学参数,并分析了其影响因素。结果表明:芦苇湿地零平面位移d和粗糙度Z0的季节变化总体呈现先增加后减少的单峰曲线变化规律。Z0和d均在9月达到最大,分别为0.24 m和1.85 m;12月达到最小,分别为0.03 m和0.02 m。芦苇湿地的Z0和d的季节变化主要受叶面积指数(LAI)、株高(h)及风速的影响。d随h的增加而单调增加,Z0随着h的变化遵循二次曲线,d/h、Z0/h与LAI之间的复相关系数分别为0.99和0.78。研究亦表明,大气稳定度和风向也对d和Z0有一定的影响。  相似文献

The flow and roughness characteristics of fluvial rivers vary in accordance with the properties of the bed configurations. In field rivers, sand waves with different characteristic lengths are often formed simultaneously. This kind of bed configurations can hardly be observed in the flume experiments. In the present research, the bed configurations are classified into three types according to the type of bar and the characteristics of the resistance to flow are analysed in relation to the type of bar.  相似文献

考虑了千万千瓦级风电基地建成后风电机群对近地面层风速的影响,采用Frandsen研究了大规模风电场内部风速损失时所使用的方法,在内边界层已经充分发展成新边界层的区域内,对轮毂高度65m处风速Uh进行了计算。结果表明,风电场建成后研究区内,风速Uh与未建场时的65m风速U0相比变小,存在风速损失,该风速损失随着U0的增大而减小,与风电机的推力系数CT性质有关;大规模风电场建成后,Uh在3~20m.s-1范围内的平均风功率密度与未建场时U0在此范围内的平均风功率密度相比损失约为58.45%,这与建场地区建场前65m处风速值大小以及各风速值出现的概率有关。  相似文献

A 4-month deployment on Ice Station Weddell (ISW) in the western Weddell Sea yielded over 2000 h of nearly continuous surface-level meteorological data, including eddy-covariance measurements of the turbulent surface fluxes of momentum, and sensible and latent heat. Those data lead to a new parameterization for the roughness length for wind speed, z0, for snow-covered sea ice that combines three regimes: an aerodynamically smooth regime, a high-wind saltation regime, and an intermediate regime between these two extremes where the macroscale or `permanent' roughness of the snow and ice determines z0. Roughness lengths for temperature, zT, computed from this data set corroborate the theoretical model that Andreas published in 1987. Roughness lengths for humidity,zQ, do not support this model as conclusively but are all, on average, within an order of magnitude of its predictions. Only rarely arezTand zQ equal to z0. These parameterizations have implications for models that treat the atmosphere-ice-ocean system.  相似文献

影响测风塔代表性的因素很多,为了合理地确定测风塔观测结果能够代表的区域范围,需要通过适当的方法综合考虑这些因素。湍流通量代表性研究中常用的印痕函数是风速、稳定度、下垫面粗糙度等的函数,可以定量地刻画单点观测结果的代表性。利用印痕函数方法对中国风能资源观测网中来自不同下垫面的44个测风塔2010年的观测结果进行了测风塔资料的代表性分析。首先,根据两层(10、70 m)的风速和温度计算稳定度参数Lp并确定中性层结,粗糙度的计算选取了中性层结条件下满足对数风廓线的资料。然后,利用中性层结下70 m高度主导风向和风向频率较大方位的资料分析了两种印痕函数方法(Schuepp和Hsieh方法)的适用性及代表性范围与粗糙度的关系。两种方法得到的印痕函数对应距离(即代表性范围)比较接近。但是,在复杂山地Schuepp方法已不适用。当粗糙度小于10 m时,粗糙度与印痕函数对应距离的关系可用对数-线性函数描述。根据经验推荐了利用印痕函数积分90%对应的距离以及下垫面显著变化位置来确定测风塔代表范围。但是,印痕函数积分阈值仍需要通过示踪实验或数值模拟检验。  相似文献

Sheet flows occur widely in natural free-surface flows including rivers in flood, tidal estuaries and coastal waters in storm conditions when bed shear stress becomes sufficiently high. Particle volumetric concentration in sheet flows normally follows a linear distribution with the Rouse [Rouse H. Modern conceptions of the mechanics of fluid turbulence. Trans ASCE, 1937;102:463–543] distribution applicable in the dilute water column above the sheet-flow layer. However, a well-verified formula for determining particle velocity distribution in sheet flows is still lacking. This paper presents formulas to describe the particle velocity profile in steady or oscillatory sheet flows. They compare well with measured data. In particular, the novel formula for determining the particle velocity at the top of bedload–sediment-dominated sublayer in sheet flows is also well verified with measured data.  相似文献

The Prandtl, Obukhov, and Monin andObukhov similarity theories are widely used todescribe the structure of turbulence in theatmospheric surface layer. Currently it isunderstood that in strong convection with no or veryweak mean wind the traditional theory breaks down.In particular, the traditional theory implies asingle-valued correspondence between localturbulence statistics and local properties ofthe flow. In very strong convection, this is nottrue because of large-scale ( 10 3 m) coherentstructures, embracing the entire convective boundarylayer (CBL). These structures produce random guststhat crucially affect surface-layer turbulence andmake it dependent on global properties of theflow, such as the CBL depth. In the present paperthe limits of validity of the traditional surface-layer similarity theory are determined and a revisedtheory of fair weather convection in the surface layeris developed by considering the effect of gustiness. It is shownthat the theoretical predictions are consistent withfield data from the TOGA COARE and SCOPEexperiments.  相似文献

Various models for calculating the effective or area-averaged roughness length zoe have been tested for a partly forested area. Three types of model are considered: the tile approach for very large scales of inhomogeneity (> 20 km), drag models for very small scales (up to 1 km), and surface-layer methods such as the blending-height method for intermediate scales. Over partly forested areas, where both pressure effects and roughness sub-layer effects may become significant, small-scale models are expected be the most suitable type of model. The various model types were tested against new experimental data that were obtained over the partly forested Sherwood Forest area (UK). The best fit with the data was obtained with the blending-height method, rather than with the different small-scale models. This is remarkable as the surface-layer assumptions of the blending-height method were clearly violated: the calculated blending height was 7 m, as compared to the mean tree height of 20 m. Of the small-scale models, a sparse-canopy approach compared poorly with the experimental data. The drag models overestimated the area-averaged roughness to a lesser degree, but a major point of concern remains the choice of the model parameters. Therefore, suggestions are made for an improved choice of these parameters.  相似文献
