应用重力资源估算东海冲绳海槽地壳厚度   总被引:2,自引:1,他引:2  
利用东海地区的重力资源,并参考在该地区进行的地震测深结果,应用线性公式估算了研究区的地壳厚度,分析了研究区地壳结构特征,根据与中国东部地球物理场、地壳结构的对比,指出东海大陆架地区应是中国大陆的自然延伸,对冲绳海槽的地壳性质进行了探讨,指出冲绳海槽应该为东海大陆架的自然终结。  相似文献

早第三纪东海瓯江凹陷曾是一个弧后拉张形成的裂谷盆地,拉张断裂在构造上控制了盆地地堑、半地堑地貌,从裂谷早期、中期到晚期,地层垂向演化表现出砂-泥-砂三重序列的充填型式,根据位于不同构造单元的SM-1、WZ6-1-1井为例证,从相对海平面、可容空间、物源供给诸方面探讨了地层成因机制。  相似文献

Quantitative analyses have been carried out on radiolarians from 65 samples of Core 255 in the southern Okinawa Trough. The distribution of taxa and the results of Q-mode factor analysis show that during the last 20 000 years three radiolarian assemblages could be distinguished which can be correlated to high and low productivity levels indicated by the organic carbon content, radiolarian abundance and ratio of Nassellaria/Spumellaria in the sediment. TheTetrapyle quadriloba assemblage of thr last glaciation and deglaciation is associated with high productivity whereas the early HolocenePolysolenia spinosa and the middle and late HoloceneCarposhaera globosa assemblages correspond to low surface productivity. Meanwhile, the variations in the ratio of radiolarian fragments indicate higher SiO2 dissolution during the Holocene than during the last glacial stage.  相似文献

Noble gas concentrations and isotopic compositions have been measured in eight samples of pillow basalt glasses collected from seven different localities along 250 km of the Mariana Trough spreading and rifting axis. The samples have uniform and mid-ocean ridge basalt (MORB)-like 3He/4He values of 9–12 × 10–6 (6.4–8.6 times atmospheric) despite large variations in 4He. Concentrations of the noble gases Ne, Ar, Kr, and Xe show much smaller variations between samples, but larger variations in isotopic compositions of Ne, Ar, and Xe. Excess radiogenic 21Ne is observed in some samples. 40Ar/36Ar varies widely (atmospheric to 1880). Kr is atmospheric in composition for all samples. Some samples show a clear excess 129Xe, which is a well-known MORB signature. Isotopic compositions of the heavier noble gases (Ar, Kr, and Xe) in some samples, however, show more atmospheric components. These data reflect the interaction of a MORB-like magma with an atmospheric component such as seawater or of a depleted mantle source with a water-rich component that was probably derived from the subducting slab.  相似文献

The Japanese archipelago is surrounded by the Pacific to the east, the Okhotsk Sea to the north, the Sea of Japan to the west and the Okinawa Trough to the south. The last three seas form semi-isolated deep basins, all with potentially tectonic origin but a different primary energy source as well as hydrographic and faunistic history. The Okhotsk Sea is connected to the Pacific through the deep straits between the Kurile Islands. As a result much of the fauna has links with that fauna found at similar depths in the Pacific. By contrast, the Sea of Japan was isolated from the main Pacific during the last ice age and became anoxic. Even today the link is only through narrow shallow straits. As a result the fauna is impoverished and is believed to be composed of cold-adapted eurybathic species rather than true deep-sea species. The deep-water fauna of both these seas derive their energy from sinking surface primary production. The Okinawa Trough has a much younger tectonic history than the Okhotsk Sea or the Sea of Japan. In the Okinawa Trough the most noticeable fauna is associated with hydrothermal activity and chemosynthesis forms the base of the food chain for the bathyal community. The variable nature of these three basins offers excellent opportunities for comparative studies of species diversity, biomass and production in relation to their ambient environment. 南马里亚纳海槽岩性比较复杂:有玄武岩,根据标准矿物组合,进一步划分为碱性玄武岩,橄揽拉斑玄武岩和石英拉斑玄武岩;火山碎屑岩,包括凝灰岩和角砾凝灰岩;以及方辉橄榄岩.大部分玄武岩样品是距今五百万年以后形成的,个别岩石样品的形成年龄为八百万年左右.不同类型的玄武岩是含H2O的地幔岩块在底辟上升过程中,局部熔融、分离的产物;火山碎屑岩是火山喷发的火山灰、火山砾被水化学分解的物质胶结而成;方辉橄榄岩是地幔岩浆底辟上升直接侵入结晶的产物.  相似文献

磁异常显示在东海陆架坳陷带以降低负磁异常为主 ,而陆架边缘隆褶带异常区则以跳跃升高的正磁异常为主 ,冲绳海槽异常区表现出 2种磁异常面貌 :在西部陆坡表现为较平缓的负磁异常 ,而冲绳海槽底部则表现为高频跳跃变化升高异常。琉球岛弧异常区则表现为降低平缓负磁异常 ,只有在靠近冲绳海槽一带表现为高频升高正磁异常。磁力异常在这几个构造带显示出明显的条带状分布特征。在测区的中南部 (2 7°4 0′ N ,12 7°0 0′ E附近 ) ,磁异常呈现出明显的磁条带特征 ,与海底地形吻合很好 ,说明海槽中段已经进入了扩张阶段  相似文献

通过对马里亚纳海槽两沉积岩芯中主要化学元素的因子分析,其结果表明,化学元素的共生组合和含量变化,与火山碎屑矿物以及大部分由海底玄武岩和玄武质火山玻璃蚀变而成的粘土矿物密切相关.岩芯的化学成分主要来自火山喷发物,因此,元素的地球化学特征反映了该区火山作用的影响.  相似文献

国内对海底火山喷发矿物中的包裹体测温实例并不多见。本文首次对火山活动较为活跃的冲绳海槽底质沉积物中的紫苏辉石进行了淬火法包裹体测温。根据包裹体特征及类型确定该矿物属海底火山喷发成因,均匀化温度南北存在明显差异,并认为它们是属于不同时代的海底基性岩浆喷发产物。  相似文献

Back-arc rifting in the Okinawa Trough   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Geological and geophysical data reveal that the Okinawa Trough shows incipient continental rifting, and crustal separation started from about 2 Ma. The early extensional movements in the trough are probably of Miocene age. In addition to the Miocene phase, two main periods of extension are recognized: a Pleistocene phase between 1.9 and 0.5 Ma and the present day phase. During the stage short central rifts (Central Grabens) were formed. The opening however, may have occurred only in the southern part of the trough basin having an average half spreading rate of 2 cm yr?1 since Early Pleistocene time, producing its present width of several tens of kilometres. These activities were well represented by igneous intrusions, sedimentary facies and sedimentary structures in and around the Okinawa Trough. The width of the zone affected by back-arc extension (defined as Greater Okinawa Trough) is larger than the present Okinawa Trough, whose width is 200–250 km. The present form of the Greater Okinawa Trough started to form at the same time as that of the Okinawa Trough.  相似文献
