以多目标动态决策方法,对承德市双桥区、双滦区进行2000年的适度人口容量预测。根据测算分析:双桥区人口发展趋势已超出适度人口容量,可向人口容量较大的双滦区输导,以确保风景旅游区景观生态环境的稳定性。     

The Association of Geoscientists for International Development （AGID） ： Adapting to a changing world

It is just two years since a profile of AGID appeared in Episodes ( Vol 25, No 3, p. 218).At that time we recounted the many achievements of the organization, first established in 1974, but also noted that ‘an awareness of the relevance of geoscience to many aid projects, and the proliferation of NGO‘s, both large and small, working in the environmental and resource sectors has radically changed the world in which AGID seeks to operate‘. We also noted that the change has happened to such an extent that AG1D has ‘to address the question as to whether the time has come either for it to wind up its operations and retire gracefully from the international scene or to continue‘.     

The European Geoparks Network

The European Geoparks Network was established in June 2000 by four regions of different European Countries--France, Germany, Spain and Greece--with similar natural and socioeconomic characteristics. These four regions are rural areas, with a particular geological heritage, natural beauty and high cultural potential, all facing problems of slow economic development,     

The Working Group on International Borders——Geoenvironmental Concerns （IBC）

The Working Group on International Borders---Geoenvironmental Concerns (IBC) was established in late 2003 and operates under the auspices of The IUGS Commission on Geological Sciences for Environmental Planning (COGEOENVIRONMENT). The following is a brief report of the first year‘s activities of the IBC during 2003.     

1.2m望远镜卫星跟踪定位精度的实测与分析

用1．2m地平式望远镜加装的视频CCD、计算机图象数据采集卡及其运用数据处理软件，对2000年4月17日观测视角速度比较快的激光卫星Topex进行了实测及结果分析。每组资料数据为10帧图象，在当天晚上的跟踪观测过程中取得32组数据，用一个二次多项式进行拟合处理后的结果，再把计时误差引起的定位误差分离出来，余下为1．4〃误差视为望远镜的跟踪定位精度。为了提高跟踪定位精度，我们认为主要解决CCD计时误差即可。     

乡镇级土地利用总体规划调整中几个问题的探讨

从规划编制的角度阐述了乡镇级土地利用总体规划调整完善中几个容易混淆的概念，探讨了耕地保护的目标和耕地总量动态平稳，基本农田保护率，基本农田区位调整、建设用地复垦置换和农用地整理折抵指标体系等几具比较敏感的问题，并从操作实施的角度提出了解决这些问题的建议。     

基于目标函数的水质评价模型

提出运用目标函数法作水环境质量评价的新方法．实例计算结果及比较表明，该法用于水环境质量评价不仅是可行的，而且有一定的优点．     

国外部分卫星产品质量评价和质量控制方法

卫星遥感信息产品是由星载遥感仪器观测的数据经科学方法处理得到的,由于观测数据受地球大气和地表、太阳位置以及星上仪器工作状态、定标和定位精度等多种因素的影响,卫星遥感信息产品必须经过质量控制、误差分析之后才可以使用.因此,开展卫星产品质量控制和质量评价研究对于卫星反演产品的应用和在国民经济中发挥作用是非常必要的.该文调研了国外部分卫星产品(主要针对MODIS反演产品)的质量评价和质量控制的技术以及组织管理方法.
