The scaled boundary finite‐element method is extended to simulate time‐harmonic responses of non‐homogeneous unbounded domains with the elasticity modulus and mass density varying as power functions of spatial coordinates. The unbounded domains and the elasticity matrices are transformed to the scaled boundary coordinates. The scaled boundary finite‐element equation in displacement amplitudes are derived directly from the governing equations of elastodynamics. To enforce the radiation condition at infinity, an asymptotic expansion of the dynamic‐stiffness matrix for high frequency is developed. The dynamic‐stiffness matrix at lower frequency is obtained by numerical integration of ordinary differential equations. Only the boundary is discretized yielding a reduction of the spatial dimension by one. No fundamental solution is required. Material anisotropy is modelled without additional efforts. Examples of two‐ and three‐dimensional non‐homogeneous isotropic and transversely isotropic unbounded domains are presented. Analysis of the solid phase stress tensor in multiphase porous media   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Conservation equations for mass, momentum, energy, and entropy are formulated for the phases and interfaces of a three‐phase system consisting of a solid and two immiscible fluids. The microscale equations are averaged to the macroscale by integration over a representative elementary volume. Thermodynamic statements for each of the phases and interface entities are also formulated at the microscale and then averaged to the macroscale. This departure from most uses of thermodynamics in macroscale analysis ensures consistency between models and parameters at the two scales. The expressions for the macroscale rates of change of internal energy are obtained by differentiating the derived forms for energy and making use of averaging theorems. These thermodynamic expressions, along with the conservation equations, serve as constraints on the entropy inequality. A linearization of the resulting equations is employed to investigate the theoretical origins of the Biot coefficient that relates the hydrostatic part of the total stress tensor to the normal force applied at the solid surface by the pore fluids. The conventional approach in the design of laterally loaded piles with rectangular cross section involves the simplification of converting the rectangular cross section of the pile to an equivalent circular cross section. An analysis to determine the response of laterally loaded rectangular or circular piles in elastic soil is presented in which this simplification is not required. The analysis is based on the solution of differential equations governing the displacements of the pile–soil system derived using energy principles. The pile geometry and the elastic constants of the soil and pile are the input parameters to the analysis. Using this analysis, comparisons are made between the response of rectangular and circular piles in elastic soil. Based on the proposed solution scheme, a user-friendly spreadsheet program (LATPAXL) was developed that can be used to perform the analysis. In addition, simple equations obtained by regression analysis of the pile head deflection and bending moment profiles are proposed. Examples illustrate the use of the analysis.  相似文献

Extensive criticisms of the management of marine fisheries periodically arise for a variety of reasons. While the complexity of the US fisheries management process is partially to blame, these reasons manifest themselves in statements that include a perceived decline in living marine resource abundance levels, a proposed change in the regulatory infrastructure, or improvements in stock abundance that some feel should allow for new entrants. Following these criticisms are calls to end the federal management process or at the very least the replacement of the fishery management agency leadership. These demands driven by rent seeking behavior use short-term declines in abundance as justification when the long-run abundance measures would have indicated improvements in stock abundance and achievement of management objectives. Empirical, long-run, stock abundance indices are estimated using synthetic demand methodology, based on bioeconomic fishery theory, applied in a general and partial equilibrium theory framework to determine if maximum sustainable yield (MSY) management targets have been achieved and maintained for four fisheries considered to be successfully managed and one characterized as a socio-economic disaster. The abundance of a fish stock is more influence by extra-market and extra-fishery forces than by fisheries managers who base allocation decisions solely on single species stock assessments.  相似文献

全球气候变化背景下,降雨事件日益增多,严重影响城市交通和居民的日常出行。本文以上海市为例,基于分时降雨数据和地铁OD客流数据,运用Prophet时序模型拟合降雨事件下的客流常态值,从站点和OD二个维度定量评估降雨造成的地铁通勤客流变化时空格局。研究结果表明:① 通勤客流总体随小时雨量增大而下降,不同类型站点客流的降雨波动性呈现差异;降雨会造成进站客流的时间滞后性和堆积性,通勤出行需求越大的站点类型堆积效应越显著;由于出发时间弹性差异,不同时点客流的降雨敏感性也不同,7:00和17:00敏感性较高,8:00—9:00和18:00—19:00则相对刚性;② 降雨会造成行程时间≤15 min的短距离客流显著上升,总体增加7.3%,中长距离客流变化不明显,总体减少1.3%;在不同功能区之间,早高峰居住型→产业型的客流波动和时间堆积性最为显著,晚高峰商服型→居住型的返程客流波动性较低;早高峰降雨敏感性线路的起始站点多分布在大型居住区,晚高峰则位于大型产业园区和商业中心;晚高峰返程客流的波动性低于早高峰。尽管降雨事件对通勤客流总量影响不明显,但会造成局部空间区域和时点的客流激增。本文的研究方法与结果有助于量化降雨对地铁通勤客流的影响程度,并为空间化的交通运行保障提供决策依据。  相似文献

A layered elastic model is adopted in the paper for the analysis of soil layering effects on the results of Cone Penetration Testing (CPT). Analytical solutions associated with the layered elastic CPT model and obtained via numerically integrating the fundamental singular solution for layered elastic solids due to the action of a body force concentrated on a circular ring. The soil layering effects on the CPT tip and friction resistance are examined in detail using the layered elastic CPT model. These examinations include parametric studies, influence of soil compressibility, comparisons with theoretical results given in the literature, verification with experimental data and simulation of field trial results. The examinations lead to the conclusions that the layered elastic CPT model can be used to analyse soil layering effects on CPT results and to estimate relative shear modulus strength of soil layers. 本文基于弹性力学与流体静力学原理对承压含水层这种弹性孔隙介质在作用力激励下所作出的体应变响应的力学机制进行了较清晰深入的阐述与理论推导,得到了井水位系统的动力学方程,该方程表明井水位系统为一个零阶的放大环节,其传递函数为一常数,从而给出了在含水层孔隙度分别等于零和等于1情况下的井水位系统所允许的理论格值范围.鉴于井水位系统为一个天然体应变计,其维尼迪柯夫调和分析所得到的振幅比(或潮汐因子)即为该水井的传递函数(灵敏度).由于半日波为水位观测资料的主项,而M2波又为半日波的主项,因此以M2波灵敏度的倒数作为该井水位系统的格值是较为可取的.在取得格值的基础上,本文利用福建5口水井2008年5月份的井水位分钟值对发生在5月12日的四川汶川地震所引起的同震阶变进行计算,四川汶川大地震所引起的这5口水井的水震波幅度与体应变潮汐波幅度约为10-7~10-8.  相似文献
