日长年际变化,ElNino/南方涛动和大气准两年振荡的小波分析 总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4
本文采用1964-1993年期间日长变化序列、海平面气压和纬向风速资料,通过小波变换等技术研究分析日长年际变化与ElNino/南方涛动、大气准两年振荡之间的关系.结果表明,日长年际变化与ElNino/南方涛动存在着相似的谱结构,而且ElNino/南方涛动叠加上大气准两年振荡后,与日长变化序列的小波变换时频谱更趋于一致.本文研究结果证实,ElNino/南方涛动和大气准两年振荡的贡献基本能够解释地球自转的年际变化. 相似文献

In the estimate of dispersion with the help of wavelet analysis considerable emphasis has been put on the extraction of the group velocity using the modulus of the wavelet transform. In this paper we give an asymptotic expression of the full propagator in wavelet space that comprises the phase velocity as well. This operator establishes a relationship between the observed signals at two different stations during wave propagation in a dispersive and attenuating medium. The tectonics of North Iceland is dominated by interaction of the Iceland hot spot and the mid-oceanic Kolbeinsey Ridge. Transform movement along the transition zone, often called Tjörnes Fracture Zone, and the seismicity it generates has been documented in the past. This study uses the seismicity data of the permanent South Iceland Lowland (SIL) network to quantify velocity structure from travel time inversion. The SIL seismic dataset is capable of illuminating parts of the region in a 3D seismic velocity inversion, primarily between 7 and 12 km depth, with less resolution elsewhere because of the sparse setup of the monitoring network. The problem has been analysed in 1, 2 and 3 dimensions and evaluated with 4 different inversion tools. The study reports a correlation of a seismic velocity anomaly in compressional wave velocity v p and shear wave velocity v s with the Husavik-Flatey fault and a further subsurface lineament stretching between the islands of Flatey and Grimsey. Paleostress analysis of the Cretaceous rocks in the eastern margin of the Dead Sea transform, Jordan

This paper presents the first paleostress results from fault-slip data on Cretaceous limestone at the eastern rim of the Dead Sea transform (DST) in Jordan. Stress inversion of fault-slip data is performed using an improved right dieder method, followed by rotational optimization (Delvaux, TENSOR Program). The orientation of the principal stress axes (σ1, σ2 and σ3) and the ratio of the principal stress differences (
) show two main paleostress fields marking two main stress regimes, strike-slip and extensional. The first is characterized by NNW–SSE compression and ENE–WSW extension and related to Middle Miocene-Recent sinistral movement along the Dead Sea transform and the opening of the Red Sea. The second paleostress field is a WNW–ESE compression and NNE–SSW extension restricted to the northern part of the investigated area. This stress field could be associated with the development of the Syrian Arc fold belt which started during the Turonian, or it may be due to an anticlockwise rotation of the first stress field. 相似文献
