An analytic model for third-body perturbations and for the second zonal harmonic of the central body's gravitational field is presented. A simplified version of this model applied to the Earth-Moon-Sun system indicates the existence of high-altitude and highly-inclined orbits with their apsides in the equator plane, for which the apsidal as well as the nodal motion ceases. For special positions of the node, secular changes of eccentricity and inclination disappear too (balanced orbits). For an ascending node at vernal equinox, the inclination of balanced orbits is 94.56°, for a node at autumnal equinox 85.44°, independent of the eccentricity of the orbit. For a node perpendicular to the equinox, there exist circular balanced orbits at 90° inclination. By slightly adjusting the initial inclination as suggested by the simplified model, orbits can be found — calculated by the full model or by different methods — that show only minor variations in eccentricity, inclination, argument of perigee, and longitude of the ascending node for 105 revolutions and more. We have reconsidered the energetics of the BN/KL infrared complex, using array images at nine wavelengths between 4.8 and 20 m, and find a much lower luminosity for IRc2 than the generally accepted value. The new observations resolve larcsec structure throughout the region, including several new compact sources within a few arcsec of IRc2 and significant details imaged in the 9.7 m silicate feature. Together with other recent work, the results suggest that luminous stars associated with three compact HII regions found within BN/KL, rather than IRc2, may be the more significant luminosity sources for the complex. 相似文献

为了模拟近场强地震动,采用了基于有限断层模型的一种随机合成方法.震源破裂面被剖分成一定数量的子源,总的地震矩分成数量更多的子震的矩.一给定子源中一次子震引起的场地地震动的傅氏谱,通过考虑点源的谱、随着距离的衰减、能量耗散及近地表效应等导出.据此幅值谱和一个随机相位谱,并与一个时程包络函数结合,合成一个子震时程.将各子源中各个子震引起的所有时程叠加,得出场地的地震动时程.叠加中,各子震时程之间的时滞,据子震发震时差和子源至场地的距离差别引起的时差确定.对一个设定地震,选用4个断层面倾角,计算了近场21个地点的地震动.结果表明,本文方法可以很好地表达破裂的方向性效应和上盘效应.为了验证方法的可靠性,对1994年美国北岭地震中3个近断层台站MCN,LV3和PCD模拟的地震动与实际记录的加速度反应谱和时程作了比较. 相似文献

塔河油田奥陶系以碳酸盐岩为主,油气的主要储渗空间为裂缝和溶蚀孔洞,具有很强的非均质性.本文利用常规及成像测井资料,对碳酸盐岩缝洞型储层的识别与评价方法进行研究.为了综合各种测井方法识别裂缝,建立了综合裂缝概率模型,计算综合裂缝概率指示裂缝的发育程度.利用地层微电阻率扫描成像测井资料进行裂缝和溶蚀孔洞的定性、定量解释.定量计算的裂缝参数为:裂缝密度、裂缝长度、裂缝平均宽度、平均水动力宽度、裂缝视孔隙度;定量计算的溶蚀孔洞参数有:面孔率、孔洞密度.根据缝洞型储层孔隙空间类型及其中子孔隙度、补偿密度、声波、双侧向电阻率的测井响应物性特征,建立缝洞型碳酸盐岩储层复杂孔隙介质解释模型,用于确定裂缝、溶蚀孔洞孔隙度和评价储层. 相似文献

Magnetotelluric (MT) geophysical profiling has been applied to the determination of the deep structure of the Longling–Ruili fault (LRF), part of a convergent strike-slip fault system, underneath thick Caenozoic cover in Ruili basin in southwestern Yunnan, China. The recorded MT data have been inverted using a two-dimensional (2-D) nonlinear conjugate gradients scheme with a variety of smooth starting models, and the resulting models show common subsurface conductivity structures that are deemed geological significant. The models show the presence of a conductive (5–60 Ω m) cover sequence that is thickest (1–1.5 km) in the centre of the basin and rapidly pinches out towards the margins. A half-graben structure is interpreted for the Ruili basin. This is underlain by about 7–10 km thick upper crustal layer of high resistivity (>200–4000 Ω m) that is dissected by steep faults, which we interpret to flatten at depth and root into an underlying mid-crustal conductive layer at about 10 km depth. The mid-crustal layer does not appear to have been severely affected by faulting; we interpret it as a zone of partial melt or intracrustal detachment. The MT models suggest SE directed thrusting of basement rocks in the area. The Longling–Ruili fault is interpreted as a NW-dipping feature bounding one of the identified upper crustal fragments underneath Ruili city. We suggest that MT imaging is a potent tool for deep subsurface mapping in this terrain. 相似文献

Clinical routine is currently producing a multitude of diagnostic digital images but only a few are used in therapy planning and treatment. Medical imaging is involved in both diagnosis and therapy. Using a computer, existing 2D images can be transformed into interactive 3D volumes and results from different modalities can be merged. Furthermore, it is possible to calculate functional areas that were not visible in the primary images. This paper presents examples of clinical applications that are integrated into clinical routine and are based on medical imaging fundamentals. In liver surgery, the importance of virtual planning is increasing because surgery is still the only possible curative procedure. Visualisation and analysis of heart defects are also gaining in significance due to improved surgery techniques. Finally, an outlook is provided on future developments in medical imaging using navigation to support the surgeon's work. The paper intends to give an impression of the wide range of medical imaging that goes beyond the mere calculation of medical images. 相似文献

Sinkholes in dolomitic areas are notoriously difficult geophysical targets, and selecting an appropriate geophysical solution is not straightforward. Electrical resistivity imaging, or tomography (RESTOM) is well suited to mapping sinkholes because of the ability of the technique for detecting resistive features and discriminating subtle resistivity variations. RESTOM surveys were conducted at two sinkhole sites near Pretoria, South Africa. The survey areas are located in the dolomites of the Lyttelton Formation, which forms part of the Malamani Subgroup and Chuniespoort Group of the Transvaal Supergroup. The survey results suggest that RESTOM is an ideal geophysical tool to aid in the detection and monitoring of sinkholes and other subsurface cavities. 相似文献
